But as a beginner, you can get cheap houses at Asokoro extension like Guzape, Kobi etc. You can even get a self-contained apartment of 80k at Asokoro extensions. It's N50 keke drop from Asokoro District to the extensions.

Asokoro and Miatama are rated as one of the best two districts in Abuja.With what I am seeing here(poor landscape,worn out roads etc) it doesn't even come close to Thamesmead in SE London which is seen as a slightly deprived borough.

I don't think those who say they never knew such places existed in PH were feigning ignorance. I've been in PH for almost 11years now, and, in all my journey I've only ever gone past Spar Mall once. I have absolutely no idea what's beyond Hospital road. I live around Iwofe axis, and I earn my living, to the glory of God, around that area, and I don't think I've been to Trans-Amadi more than twice. Besides, "Bundu waterside" and Iloabuchi areas in PH, aren't places you want to live. Those places are really rough. People only run trade businesses over there, especially at Iloabuchi area. Below are photos I took from my rooftop as soon as I saw your comment. The quality is bad but they offer a glimpse of what I'm saying.

There are tons of areas in PH that looks even better than what the OP posted. I mean tons! If I enter only those small towns wey connect with Ada George road snap show you sef, you go know say PH try.

The rent here is ₦200k for a one bedroom apartment, and ₦350k for a two bedroom apartment. It's a relatively cheap place to live in PH.

@op I am thinking of relocating to abuja.i currently stay in pH.i will like to know the rent around abuja for a standard self contained though am budgeting 250k.which area will fit this amount.thank.

I also guess as much. This asokoro side is even a low cost asokoro. What you get here cannot be compared with the 'main' asokoro. It is around the total filling station not too far from police headquarters...

As good as your analysis sound sir, your 80k self contained thing is not Asokoro extention but Kobi, kpaduma, kuruduma...because extension has no such houses for rent.

make more money before moving and settling down in abuja and you must have something to do here,the hustle here is different.....

If you're shown pictures of kubwa, gwagwalada, nyanya etc you will never believe they are in abuja. Just cuz someone posted ghetto pictures of ph doesn't mean all of ph is like that.
