through this pandemic, I realized people in the UK and the US are overrated. Democracy is overrated.

Chinese people, for the good of all, stayed indoors and curbed the spread. Americans used that time to exercise their freedom and debated more until it got out of hand. Sometimes, over-freedom is bad and Americans have enough this freedom.


I'm sure those protesting and trump are doing what they're doing because they know blacks are the ones dying disproportionately from this virus. They are susceptible to the virus because of underlying medical records most of them have. So, what's killing those you don't like more, why should I be kept indoors for that?

You can't just open the economy without instilling confidence in people. The truth is that the pandemic has eaten deep into America. 4 million plus tested in 350 million. And by Dr. Fauci, the curve is just beginning to flatten and their should be a considerable drop to signal opening the economy.

A permanent lockdown while creating fear is unnecessary that's not how it works. The virus spread is most likely exaggerated. The whole of China wasn't on lockdown or on mass testing. The whole of US doesn't have to be on full lockdown. There are many other measures that can be applied for different states. While limiting Interstate movement.

U don't have to test the whole country to reopen. The virus is not yet a plague, everywhere isn't an epicenter. We need to stop the panic and re educate and sensitze people.

I didn't say quick reopening bt in phases and gradually with neccesssary precautions. Permanent lockdown isn't needed everywhere and for so long. It's counter productive.

Private business and government shud open with minimal staffs and all covid 19 precautions in place. Skols can be on hold cos of the population and u can't teach some.and leave some at home.

Testing can continue while the economy reopens in phases. It cannot continue as a permanent lockdown. It's not helpful.

Consider this is what we know of this Covid-19. Its shows in your body after 14days of infection, while SARS just 1 day. This while, a whole lot of people are at risk of getting it from you a healthy carrier. Community transmission is dangerous and account for 90% of spread.

Why was Spanish Flu of 1918 so deathly? History shows that then we didn't have the sort of awareness we had today. People had little personal hygiene like hand washing. People knew little of bacteria and virus causing infections etc. Then we didn't have vaccine, medical advances, technology etc.

While it's true we have these advances today, the world is also a global village today than it was 100 years ago. People can go from one part to another within a day and in large number compared to then. Back then, it took time but the spread was global over time. Covid-19 spread from one part of the earth to another within 2 months while it might have taken more than 6 months of the Spanish flu.

I'm not a medical scientist neither am I Nostradamus cousin. But I am not dumb, I study history, I follow trends, I know human behaviours and I also know the capacity of greed and selfish motives.
