Congrats! While we wait for the second stage (medicals, and biometrics) to be cleared.

It will end in praise.
Morning boss please I need your take on this
This one almost everyone is getting aip,does it mean that the stage 1 will be passed as long as you have the necessary funds and admission?
or does it mean that the stage 2 is where they’ll check home ties, sop and all that stuff?

Good day All,

I got admitted for a one year MBA with 29500CAD . I have paid compulsory 1,000CAD with a balance of 28,500

All my efforts to raise fund wasn’t really forthcoming but I’m my savings account I have #11.7M

Is it advisable to apply with this amount ?

Thanks in advance

Convert $38,500cad ( 28,500tuition + 10,000 living expenses) if its less than 11.7m, you can proceed with your application.

Please when did you apply?

Jesusrules24:

I haven't yet done my medicals and there is no request for medicals yet.

I got an email notifying me of a message in my account and when I logged in, I saw the letter.

Wait, no medicals or invite and you still got AIP... IRCC is becoming confusing

I didn't do Upfront Medicals as well, nor got a medical request, and I got AIP, in which I was told that my application has advanced to the next stage of processing.

Though Reviewing of Eligibility & Background Check is still on.

@Anon123, what does this signify

- should I await a Medical Request?
- Do an Upfront Medical?
- or I should await further instructions from IRCC?

Thanks

Have done that . With current rate. It’s actually 11.1M

Is that okay ??

Hello everyone,

I am quite new here. Pardon if I am asking a question that has been asked before.

I saw on this thread that the proof of living expenses that the Visa office requires form my sponsor is 10,000 CAD. However the estimated living expenses on the pdf file that my University sent is more than 10,000 CAD (about 24,000 CAD; accommodation, meals, books and supplies e.t.c). Which do you think the Visa office will consider?? 10,000 CAD or the one my school requires??

Also, peradvaenture I defer till January (winter 2021), can I start processing my Visa from now? hope it's not too early?

For the bolded.. Thats your school offering you thoses facilities.. Focus more on your tuition unless you have their 24kcad to spend.

You should consider that of the visa offfice.

Yes you can apply for your visa. In fact this is the best time to apply since you are deffering to January

Hello Anon,

I believe medicals is part of stage 2 requirement just like biometrics and security police certificate (see below)

How to obtain a study permit for fall 2020

The first stage is much like the regular study-permit process. International students have to submit:

letter of acceptance;
Certificat d’acceptation du Québec (for Quebec students only);
proof of funds;
proof that they can leave Canada when they no longer have legal temporary or permanent status; and
any family ties to Canada.
Immigration officers will assess these applications and issue pre-approval at their discretion. International students can begin studying at this stage.

To get the full study permit, and eventually be able to travel to Canada, international students will need to submit:

Immigration medical examination
Security-Police certificates
Biometrics

Good day all, I’ve been a silent follower and I must say the wealth of information provided here has been very helpful. I intend to apply for an MBA for next fall semester. Does anyone know any good GMAT study center in Abuja? I do not want to self study because I have taken the exam a few years back and it is not beans. I will be applying to other programs as well for a possible funding so I’m targeting a very high score above 650. I really need a good tutor. Your recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thanks
