I heard that she accidentally touched a naked wire from a socket and it wqe being powered by a generator not your normal nepa light. I've been shocked while touching naked sockets a couple of time, luckily they were all nepa lights.

My charger shocked me the other day this week. For the first time.

And a visitor was charging from thesame outlet at my house.

Don't know how he/she handled the socket.

Anything can happen. Just shine your eyes.

All these instagram models ( real work: coded ashawo slayqueens) always on their phones 24 hours of the day even while charging the phone, taking photos, doing videos, booking appointments for runs, replying to dms etc etc. Smh

If the charger was connected while she was sleeping and the connector touched her, through her ear rings, ring, bangles, necklace or leg chains, the sudden voltage can trigger damage. Also, if she went to the bathroom and returned without wearing slippers and mistakenly stepped on a charge or naked part of the connecting wire, it can electrocute her. Some materials like silk (depending on what they are made from) can conduct electricity. Some of the materials used to make night dress are silky, and it's not a good friend to electricity.

Now, for a short time, sudden but small voltage may be fine, but being exposed for more than 5 seconds can be fatal.

PS: I just want to add that wristwatches too (with metallic handles) constitute a risk factor. Also, be careful of metallic gadgets in your home like beds, lampstands and metallic television stands. Do not connect your charger to your phone or laptop and go to sleep. One day, I was kissing my girlfriend while she was working on her laptop on her laps outstretched across her bed and our teeth made contact and I felt mild electric shocks. So I asked her to unplug the laptop and kissed her again. I didn't feel the shocks. Her macbook was cased in aluminum and she didn't feel the mild shocks while she was working on it and her bed was metallic. I am saying all these in case you guys want to make home purchases.

It is not possible to be electrocuted while charging phone because charging wires is DC not AC voltage.

Unless if the person touch a naked wire that is inside the wall socket

In her case that was what happened, and worse still it was a generator powered electricity.

I think while her phone was charging, Clearance Peters was equally charging her with the main charger. Maybe she got over charged and her battery died as a result. That's why we keep telling people to remove their charger once their battery is full.

Modified : Always use the appropriate "charger" on your "phone" and maintain the normal voltage as well.

Phone charger can't kill someone because the volts is very low ,her death might be cause of fault wall socket or naked extension wire

Electrocution could occur if you make use of a phone with metallic covering, of which during normal charging process, you feel some shock wave while handling. And while on call, it could get worst. So it can actually kill. There has been some reported cases of such.
