What I don't grasp here is what the police is still investigating in the matter. It is straight forward. All the wrongs the girl did was to avoid her family. Advise her on the right way to do it and release her.

Many poor Nigerian parents have multiple kids so they can financially exploit them when they're barely out of their teens. How most of these kids graduate from school, they don't care. They'll be calling their kids in school that there's no money for food at home, that's beyond pathetic!

This particular act made me report my colleague to my boss, a young girl in her late teen who was able to secure a job with her school cert was being disturbed by her parents who were working and well read, to the extent that her father sent her a message that they made sure she got the job , that it is her turn to assist them. Some African parents are very stupîd and useless.

The amount of pressure they put on some children is the reason why the society is the best it is.
