Nigerian American Writer Becomes New York Number 1 Bestseller

I was scrolling through Instagram today when I saw this post, a list of New York Bestseller, most of which where about racism... I took a closer look at the picture and found out that the number 1 new York best seller for Paperback nonfiction book this week was "SO YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT RACE" by a Nigerian-American.

Her biography
Ijeoma Oluo is a Seattle-based writer, speaker, and Internet Yeller. She’s the author of the New York Times Best-Seller So You Want to Talk about Race, published in January by Seal Press. Look at what bitterness has reduced you to, she either have denounced her African heritage, even with her two names Igbo, an enemy is asking us to see our sister as foreigner.

That's more like it, thank you to the mod that pushed this to the front page. I apologize for my initial outrage. There are some citizens of my great country who only represent a fraction of us. And there are others too who represent the rest of us in good light, the later is what we should celebrate. Not some nonentity that become popular overnight, or some jealous south Africans displaying their childish tantrums and cumming all over the Nigerian online space
