That’s because they share their traits and are responsible for those population migratory patterns. Especially South Asia. When these groups mix with Ethiopians the offspring looks like it’s from South Asia.

When Ethiopians Mix with East Asians, it’s obvious that there’s a mix. This is because the African groups that migrated to that area came from the Southern part of Africa. The kids don’t look full Chinese except the Ethiopian parent is mixed.

When they mix with West Africans, their children look more West African.
