Greatzeus: I'm not telling you to believe me by force or my story, my main point of writing this is just for all chritians all over the world to come together and stop causing division. I don't even know the name of the church, but the vacancy read an international Christian organisation vacancy is in need of a born a gain Christian and my own position requirement. Since I'm a Christian and I have the stated req6in the position, and I count and believe I'm a born again Christian, I decided to apply. If you have not experienced this before doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Have a nice day 1 Like |

U1: Honestly, I guess the reason why they don't believe is because it has not happened to them. When I was in school, we have joint Christian fellowship, do you believe that catholic are not among the joint fellowship may be because they believe our doctrine is different from other church. I'm not here to defend Catholic, because my dads senior brother is now a pastor in one of the big church in Nigeria, he left catholic when he moved to Abuja and he became a pastor there.. |

Doloris2626: God bless you brotherly, some people just don't understand anything until that thing happened to them, before they can believe. I have an uncle too he is now a pastor, one of the reason why I don't go to his place, not as if he always force me to go to is church, but always tell me to find another church to go because we Catholics don't pray and we are not born again Christians. He really likes me and threat me like his son, but not listening to him about switching church is our problem. I can't leave my catholic faith for any other thing, we were all born Methodist but changed to catholic by friends 3 Likes |

wunmi590:You cannot be a catholic and a born again Christian. When you accept christ as your lord and saviour you must be baptized by immersion and not sprinkling just like christ. You just showed the interviewer how confused you are about your faith. Take note me sef I no holy but these are facts Sorry 1 Like |

wunmi590: It's okay, just hold on to your Faith n Belief. The"Trials of our Faith" is not only when we are asked to deny our belief. Sometimes, we asked to make adjustment to our belief, until we don't know what we stand for anymore. Count it all joy and trust God for something bigger n better.. 3 Likes |

wunmi590: Wunmi, I did read that you spoke to a Nigerian. My submission is if this company is based in Europe, it is near-impossible for your faith to be a qualifier to your employment and that is because half of Europe is Atheist. Now please, avail me the name of this organization so that I verify this story, can you do that? 1 Like |

ArticleBeast: I don't need to do that, my main reason putting up this write up is just to let Christian's understand that we are also divided. And beside they called me via WhatsApp call. Such thing has happened to my wife before, when she was looking for admission into nursing school, that was one of the Baptist nursing school. After passing the test and other, she proceeded for the oral, immediately she said she was Catholic she was turned down immediately. Catholic too have their own short coming. But the reason why I'm writing this is for all Christians to come together as one, instead of this division of a thing. |
Re: How I Lost A Potential Job Because Of My Denomination by U1(m): 8:55pm On Aug 28, 2020 |
ArticleBeast: Pity for who exactly? It seems you agreed as well that Catholics are not Christians. Going by your second sentence, who then are the true Christians? Sometimes, I am tempted to think religion is a problem - people have sadly made it so. Christians accuse (or condemn) Muslims and the latter do the same to the former in some instances. Yet, within these "religions" there are divisions. In spite of all the religiosity, evil continues to thrive. No one should tell me they are born-again - I can tell that myself! 5 Likes |

ArticleBeast: What's there to understand? Perhaps, you should re-read what you typed! I even asked a question to help me understand better but you ignored. You seem to take a side in the first sentence, making whatever point you're trying to make with the following one a bit vague. Are the Orthodox right or it's the "Pentecostals" that are? 2 Likes |

Please be honest to describe exactly what kind of job you interviewed for, instead of trying to stoke up some denominational sentiment. If it's a job that is rooted in a particular Christian denomination then you have no point really. Because if that denomination thing had worked in your favour you wouldn't be here complaining. It is funny that we only notice things that are wrong when they aren't in our favour. It is human nature. wunmi590: 3 Likes 1 Share |

wunmi590:There are Catholics where were baptised in moving water or living water, through immersion. Baptism leaves an indelible mark on the soul whether it's through immersion or sprinkling as is the norm in most Roman Catholic churches. The reason why I'm lecturing you on this is because you failed at not knowing what you practice and it's effects and that translated to the stumbling block you encountered. You are not a Catholic because you attend the gathering, you are one based on your faith and knowledge of that faith you practice. Just like many Christians, you are oblivious of who you say you are and lack basic knowledge about what you claim to be. BTW I'm a Catholic but not Roman Catholic 3 Likes |

wunmi590: First of all, happy birthday. Now judging from what the person told you, the job requires someone who has the qualifications they are looking for. Why are you upset? If a job wants a BSc holder and a wassce holder applies shouldn't they reject? Please stop adding sentiments to things. 7 Likes 1 Share |
