High priest Ananias was a member of the Sanhedrin, who Paul viewed as a ruler of the people (not a religious ruler).. Paul is a follower of christ and was no longer practising Judahism. The verse is talking about not speaking evil of the ruler of your people.. Oyedepo and his cohorts have been know to speak evil of the rulers of their people. This bible verse applies to them more...
