I never knew this governor could be this highhanded

Ombudsdabomb:

90 million votes does not mean 90 million people voted. DSTV gives the option of multiple votes by people on their different platforms

Read my comments again and point out anywhere I said all 90 million votes came from one person? Or it happened one weekend, or multiple was not recorded over the 71 days

Well Dapo Abiodun is a Billionaire and a Forbes millionaire in Dollars and he has more sense when it comes to what to do to generate revenue and youth participation in governance than you or anybody you've known in your journey in life

Dapo Abiodun just made a choice to make Laycon who got large percentage of 90 million Africans vote in BBnaija to represent Ogun youth as an ambassador

If I was INEC chairman I'll also eat the humble pie and ask BBNAIJA organisers and Deloitte Anderson Auditing Consultancy to tell us how they got 90 million votes from the whole Africa and managed it so well that Southafricans , Ghanians all voted without thinking of corruption in Nigeria

If I was also minister of youth and sports, or information and tourism, I'll start thinking of how to develop similar program that can generate such billions in revenue for NTA

Being a billionaire does not exempt or cover your shallow minded nature.

Having misplaced priorities has nothing to do with wealth rather it is a thing of principle.

You are a typical misguided youth and I don't blame you for your shallowness. You are just a victim of maladministration and poor goverence.

We have people like you in the majority. Who cannot think independently nor show good judgment on national matters. People like you keep complaining in silence but yet vote in leaders that sabotage your future.

SMH!! Nonsense!!

Then for Ogun State to make revenue like California wouldn't it be smart to also focus on Entertainment rather than NigerDelta Oil?!

It would be smater for Ogun state to focus on capacity building so youths with innovative ingenuity can become Mark Zuckerbergs, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs....

Let him see it in another veiw

Laycon is the best graduating student in his department in UNILAG, he is a rapper and a Big Brother Winner,

Dapo Abiodun needed a Youth Ambassador, who is loved by Ogun indegenes and youth, someone that can communicate in their youth language, some one who knows the pain of been a youth from the ghetto

For 71 days Laycon was under camera 24/7 he didn't go nude, he didn't fight anybody even when provoked he laughed and moved on, not once did he engage in frivolous or mediocre activity, all he did was talk about his life, exercise, meditate through yoga, complete his daily task even when he knows he can't win

I am very certain if this man had 24/7 camera on him for a week, everyone would be surprised at who the Hypocrite is

Nigerian Entertainment sector has contributed alot of direct and indirect jobs to poor youths like Laycon without connection of getting white collar jobs, IF WE STUPIDLY KILL BIG BROTHER ENTERTAINMENT WHILE WATCHING EPL, UEFA Champions League, LaLiga, BOLLYWOOD, WAKANDA AND HOLLYWOOD we would only loose revenue

California USA and Mumbai Indian ,both have the Largest GDP in India and US respectively, they make billions of dollars on all Entertainment

Think about Entertainment as a big business and perhaps as a black human you can understand no oil non governmental development

And to close my argument, Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, needs to invite MultiChoice Nigeria, Organisers of Big brothers, and Deloitte Anderson Auditing Consultancy to help them with real ways they got to get 90 million votes from all African countries especially SouthAfrica, Nigeria and Ghana to count, in a way that Africans look forward to vote for Nigerian content without fearing Corruption

.
in your mind now you have made sense Abi?? Why was he not rewarded when he graduated as the best from unilag?? Why wait till now when he emerged winner for the show that glorifies immorality? He didn't go nude but was lustfully romancing a housemate in the guise of dancing. Is that what the youths should emulate?? What exactly did he do in the house that should make him worthy of emulation?? What are we getting from watching housemates with raging hormones and no iota of home training who come to disgrace themselves and their families for the world to see?? Why comparing BBNaija to UEFA and all that you mentioned above?? Our footballers, musicians and actors are still representing Nigeria well in the entertainment industry on a global stage. Nigeria still has some respect because of them. How is BBNaija helping us in the eyes of the world??

Nigerian gospel artiste, Wale Adenuga, has blasted Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun, for making BBNaija season 5 winner, Laycon, a Youth Ambassador in the state, IgbereTV reports.

Governor Abiodun hosted Laycon, an indigene of the state yesterday October 6 where he announced his appointment as a youth ambassador in the state. The governor also announced a cash gift of N5 million to Laycon as well as a three-bedroom bungalow.

In a post shared on his Instagram page this morning, award-winning singer, Wale Adenuga, said the governor's decision is "disheartening"

However, many of his followers blasted him for using the term 'dogs'. He later apologized for it. He wrote:

If he appoint him because he won BBN then it's utterly unacceptable. But if he appoint him because he is very intelligent and one of the best during his University days, very ok. He deserves it.

Typical black man mentality

I can bet my balls that you have never in your life watched the show, you don't know what it's about but like other ignorant African never investigated you just concluded it's immoral , Laycon is immoral since he danced with a fellow adult for few minutes and you saw it on a blogg looking for traffic

The beauty of this is California has rewarded it's reality star , Portugese have rewarded their Christiano Ronaldo and Dapo Abiodun just rewarded his own state youth and gave him an ambassadorship appointment

Nothing absolutely nothing you can do than hate with your phone

Dashing a pseudo-celebrity taxpayers money along with house does not translate to promoting entertainment sir... The charlatan is merely feeding off the current trend for political gains, rather than societal development.

If he were serious about focusing on entertainment or improving the industry for his state's benefit, he would open the doors for investors; create more talent shows with massive rewards; use his office to build entertainment hubs or schools; etc.

Quick question... Prior to that publicity stunt above, what has Sir. Abiodun done directly or indirectly to make the industry flourish in a state filled with entertainment potentials??!
misplaced priorities is one of the greatest undoing of our politicians. Unfortunately the masses are the ones left out

The imbalance in the society is created by the government and so causes discontentment

If not I don't see why personal convictions should be used to attack another man.

When governor sef don't live up to expectations, this country is tupsy turvy

as if the said laycon didn't rock nengi bum bum towards the last episode of the show, the fact remains that he don't deserve the ambassador, no matter how he may have comport himself during the life show. The show itself is not anyhow educative, just making money and polluting the life of selfless youth out there. HE DON'T DESERVE THE AMBASSADOR. As for the money I have no ishh with that but the common man in Ogun are clamouring for food and shelter everyday. The governor has just shown is people is naivety towards the state and people development.

Did Ogun State stop youth capacity building and development at anytime?!

Ogun State just got a famous trending youth who can represent them in character to act as their ambassador a buffer between the youth and the government and the responsibility came with a contract and benefits

Not only are they left out, some of them actually applaud the penchant of their leaders to indulge in mediocrity.

Until we actually raise the bar for leadership, and demand far more from elected officials, things will continue to worsen in this nation.

Swear to God you ever watched the show before condemning it, except clips from bloggers

Swear to God you have never danced with a lady before condemning Laycon

Let us Africans Learn to live and let's live, or learn about something before blind hate... This is what is happening to Abubakar Shekau of Boko Haram hating western education because he doesn't understand it

Nothing has made the news on that regard. No such news has emerged that shows Ogun state is serious about youth capacity building. In fact through out his administration, the only youth related news that we know is his appointment of Laycon as youth ambassador.

Majority of the Youths that voted for Laycon were from Lagos. So your rationale does not hold and your insistence on this argument on the Governor's behalf only shows your delusional position.
