So the Senator thinks he's talking to fools abi. If the Kanji runway is not ready yet, let US deliver our planes to any other airport in the country. We have many that can receive them pending when we get our head recalibrated. |

Nigeria problem sometimes magnify because of our nature. This is a simple issue, there is a need to upgrade runway to meet the new jet standard. Air force didn't phantom this into budget. They need supplementary budget of 9b period. |

The Senate Committee on Airforce, said on Thursday that Nigeria stood the risk of losing $493m paid to the United States for the purchase of Super Tucano fighter planes. POLITICIANS in Nigeria are heartlessly dragging Nigeria into bankruptcy. The little money that comes into the treasury are consumed by fraudulent scammers under the name of budgeting for security. NA BOKO HARAM THEM DEY FIGHT GOING TO 15 YEARS NOW. Yet no progress. Contractors in the Nigeria army and their civilian counterpart are cashing out big on Nigeria all in the name of fighting security. ALLOW NIGER DELTA TO USE THEIR CRUDE OIL MONEY TO DEVELOP OIL PRODUCING COMMUNITY the ever greedy federal government and their cronies says no. WE ARE WAITING FOR HOW ZAMFARA state will dance out of its minning activities when there is a law that such resources are under federal control. 2 Likes |

GBTYO:stop saying rubbish oga, we all agree this Government is messed up, but when you guys come up with conspiracy theories, it makes all of us stupid and unobjective, Nigerian Government did not pay a dime to the US government under Obama, because Congress did not approve the sale, they paid after Trump signed an executive order approving the sale, so please stop lying up and down the Internet and be objective, PMB administration is incompent agreed but say things as it is and stop putting lies up and down the thread, how can Nigeria Government pay the US government when the US government didn't approve the transaction? How? Your lord and saviour Trump approved it for his defense contractor friends. |

Thieves. Threatening us with lies to extract money. What is the penalty for extortion again in Nigeria. They should fly them into the Presidential wing and park them in a warehouse there until we get serious. Enough of this bull. Ask Umahi how much it cost him to lay those concrete strip roads he built all over Ebonyi. By the way how much tarmac does a turboprop light strike aircraft need to operate, a machine of war requiring 'hotel care' or 'hospital upkeep" is just scandalous. They think we are ignorant. In time of war let me see the quality of runways the air force will have. Nonsense thieves. It is the 9 billion they want. 1 Like |

bid4rich: Kanji airport is not ok? What of the runway in Lagos? Abuja? PortHarcourt? Kano? Sokoto? So NAF does not have hangar in any other airport except Kanji? So you pay someone (US for that matter) for turbo planes, they collect money, and tell you; sorry Sir, your runway is not ok. We will chop yaa money. Chai! Thank you NAF for this wonderful revelation. |

these ones are mad, are they not suppose to inspect the runway and plane they intend buying before purchase. the extra cost should come from their salaries |
