So a few numbers dying before won't stop us from doing God's work. Everybody in this life is created for a reason and if ours is to civilize you people then so be it 1 Like |

Ethnic hate of others is the one thing that turns all Igbos, from the finest PHD holder to the illiterate village vulcanizer, into unreasonable, irrational and incoherent cavemen. |

candidtalk: you are not being truthful to yourself and how you lot really feal about the igbo why is the igbo always blamed for being responsible for something wasn't single handedly done by them ok let's agree the igbo did what you claimed they did, but way blame only the igbos if you claimed the teamed up with northerners? are northerners untouchable? why do you all fear the North that much? the Yorubas have being in the position to make a change in this country just like the igbos did, what exactly did the Yorubas do? are the igbos more powerful than the Yorubas? why didn't they do the same? the only thing Yorubas did well was awolowo advising Gowon to starve Biafran children, and Obasanjo and Benjamin Adekunle fighting over Mendels on whom amongst them killed igbos more amongst them or are you telling me the Yorubas were only doing sidon dey look when igbos were changing things? |

If the Aba is more developed that all SW put together except some places in Lagos, you won't find a single Ndigbo in the much hated Yoruba and Hausa lands. How is your Ariaria Market? Have they fixed the roads there? Particularly the entry point from Osisioma? Na just ask I dey ask ohhh! Sense is not for the dense sha! |

You should simply have said Emeagwali won the Gordon Bell Prize and save us the confusion. You think Igbos, who have always been butthurt that Soyinka is a Nobel Prize winner and not Achebe, wouldn't have been endlessly disturbing the whole world with their typical delusions of grandeur that an Igbo man has also won the Nobel Prize? 4 Likes |

And also please keep maintaining the tempo of secession...if you all are not smart enough to see how foolish it is to pursue both lines of action at the same time then by all means please continue...we need your civilisation. jimyjames: Mr man, i am not one gullible fellow, that will believe anything he is told, i do my research, you your self was not there, you don't know what they were thinking. They said, they said, but there action were different, they killed with partiality, but they wanted to make Nigeria, killing people in the North and West, but sparing the people of the east, so that they can take Control of Nigeria. Even if Nzeougwu, come back to earth, with Jesus beside him, so as to prevent him fro lieing to say that it was , a coup, to put Igbos at the helms of affairs of Nigeria, you Guys will still say he is Lying, and find a way to tackle him. Zik owned a News paper that spoke about the ills of colonialism so what, even Awo owned a News paper. Little did you know, that it was Awos party that, raised the motion for independence. When opinions became unanimous that Lord Luggard and his government must be forced out of Nigeria and indeed the whole of Africa, it was still the Igbos that frustrated the attempts. Here is how: In 1948, Anthony Enahoro organized an anti-colonization symposium in Lagos for which Azikiwe and some other Igbos had agreed to deliver the keynote address. But when the D-day came, Azikiwe was nowhere to be found as he deliberately disappeared into thin air for fear of being arrested and dealt with by Lord Luggard. Anthony Enahoro then quickly replaced Azikiwe with another person who did the job improptu but perfectly well as he lambasted and lampooned Lord Luggard and the British Government. However, the British soldiers invaded the symposium venue, arrested the speaker and Enahoro and jailed them for treasonable felony. Ironically, the next day Azikiwe came out of hiding and granted a radio interview in which he accused Enahoro and the other organizers of suffering from youthful exhuberance. On regaining his freedom few weeks later and being told of Azikiwe's radio interview, Enahoro resigned from his post as Editor of Azikiwe's newspaper - The West African Pilot. Then he wrote a book titled "Nnamdi Azikiwe: Sinner of Saint". After launching the book, Enahoro left Azikiwe's party - the NCNC, and moved over to Awolowo's Action Group. You callWike and the whole of ikwere people denying being Igbo Internet propaganda, you people and your force Attache issue, even Akwa Ibom people distinguishes them self from Igbo, not to talk trying to call Benin man an Igbo man, he will just kill you. Yoruba don't love zik, Mr man, NCNC wining Some Yorubas vote is Understandable. Firstly it is a party that was created by Olayinka Herbert Samuel Heelas Badmus Macaulay, A Yoruba Man, Secondly the party Consisted of Yoruba Members, who had stonghold in Yoruba Land. |

Bkayyy: Not everybody on Nairaland is a semi-educated trader. There are acceptable methods of comparing developments of States/Countries. Showing pictures of GRA/carefully selected streets in a city is not one of them. Compare and contrast the Human Development Indices (HDI) as conducted by the UNDP and the GDP of these States. This is how the World Bank or United Nations compare developments. 1 Like |

Bkayyy: For you to assume that individual houses digging bore holes is a superior to municipal pipe borne water system show that you know nothing about 'Housing, Urban and Regional Planning' Bore holes only became popular in Nigeria due to breakdown of municipal pipe borne water system in the early 1990s. So mere driving cars into your homes simply means adequate urban planning system? There is no points arguing further with you. |

jneutron4000: This is fact that most igbos tend to conveniently deny. The reason Azikiwe and in extension Ironsi favoured unitary government was because of the seemingly possibility of the igbos controlling the Hausa/Fulani whom they thought are docile and won’t cause them much worries like the sophisticated and well exposed Yorubas. Early education and exposure has placed the Yorubas well ahead of igbos and this caused a lot of worries for them, they feared the Yorubas who are naturally ahead might dominate if the regions continue to be self governed. The free education policy for example of awolowo has shown the direction and back then formal education was seen as the bedrock of national development. Although the igbos also later gave much attention to formal western education, they couldn’t match the Yoruba leadership and instead they start some sort of propaganda that has been unfortunately passed down through generations with a “Yorubas hate Igbo” theme. 1 Like |

How do you call a town/city that doesn't have a university, Airport, Mall, pubs, the worst road network in the country, no trains etcetera developed? The dirtiest city in the country. Aba is an emblematic of a failed society. Development means growth, now I want you to judge if Aba is worthy to be called a developed city.... Hahaha Interesting. |

jimyjames: You keep on shooting yourself in the foot. Was there any agreement between Yorubas and igbos for support? What were you expecting the Yorubas to do? Or are you not aware that it was Zik that blocked Awo from including secession clause in Nigeria’s constitution? Or didn’t even Zik later withdrew support for Biafra, after claiming Ojukwu didn’t consult him? If the igbos couldn’t even unite and support themselves, was it the Yoruba you blame for such failure? The Yorubas especially Awo was not fully satisfied by the entraption called Nigeria and was magnanimous enough to suggest a possible clause for secession but igbos see this as tribalistic and now they’re lamenting over something that a clause would have granted them easily. This proves that Awo was visionary enough to foresee that the entraption was bound for failure from the onset. 3 Likes |

jimyjames: This your submission again confirms your biased opinion. Before the civil war or even precolonial nigeria, can you sincerely compare development between the Yoruba nation and the Igbo nation? What makes you think that any other tribe wouldn’t have achieved even better of faces with similar challenges? Why do you guys always claim something that can’t be proven and want people(other tribes) to accept such claims but when these other tribes makes claim as such you infer hatred as the basis of such claims? 1 Like |
