femi4:Now you are running to quote Peter's letter. Again, when Thomas stuck His finger in Jesus Christ's wounds, was that instead into a "spirit" wound that Thomas stuck his fingers into? If Jesus Christ was only able to raise His spirit and not His flesh and blood, are we truly able to say that Jesus Christ in fact gained "victory" over Death since Death, the judgment that God placed on men, implies the perishing of the mind, body and soul of man? Also, when did Jesus Christ appear before the Father right before returning to appear before His disciples again? |

Kobojunkiee:What's wrong with Peter's letter. How does appearing in spirit means he didn't raise his body? His later apperance to the Thomas and the rest was in flesh. |

Re: What If Jesus Did Not Resurrect? by Kobojunkiee: 7:45pm On Apr 04, 2021 |
femi4:Again, you are the one who claimed a supposed end to Jesus Christ's mission in flesh upon His resurrection...try to keep up! You claimed He appeared in Spirit suggesting a separation from His body, is it not? If He appeared in Spirt, is His body right there occupying the very same space? Or maybe I should ask where His body was when He appeared to people in His Spirit? So, if He appeared to Thomas later on in flesh, you are indeed saying that His mission in the flesh hadn't in fact ended since this all took place after His resurrection? |

Omooba77: If your God actually "sacrificed" his "only" son, why did his son resurrect? When you sacrifice anything, especially, your son, you don't get him back! That's a real sacrifice! Another thing that pisses me off is the notion that a God who could create unlimited number of sons, claimed to have only one son, who died for our sins. It makes absolutely no sense! 2 Likes |

And if there were no atonement, the purposes of creation would be frustrated; man would remain lost and fallen forever; there would be no resurrection nor eternal life; Adam and all his posterity would be as Lucifer, cast out, damned, without hope, lost forever. |

Omooba77:In Mathew we saw there were 2 Jesus. 1. Jesus Barabbas ( son of the father) 2. Jesus Christ (Messiah) NIV Mathew 17 So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, "Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?" So they were to release one of the two Jesus and crucify the other.. Accordinding to the bible Jesus (son of the father) was released while Jesus (messiah) was crucified.. My question since Jesus was killed by romans who did not really know Jesus physically even Judas had to kiss Jesus for the Jews to capture because they did not recognize him.. Who is the real Jesus is it Jesus son of the father or Jesus the Messiah? Allah SWT said: "And [for] their saying, Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah. And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain." (QS. An-Nisaa 4: Verse 157) * Via Qur'an English http://quran-en.com The earliest gospel which is the gospel of mark didn't give account that Jesus was seen after death on the cross it stopped at Mark 16 vs 8 but later scribes eventually added to marks gospel... The later Gospels Mathew, Luke and John even Mark all had discrepancies when accounting for the ressurection of christ... Apart from the Bible no other source nor anybody apart from the so called disciples saw Jesus ressurect and raised to heaven it was only a few group of people that saw him ressurect according to the bible which puts the death of Jesus in doubt.. None of the disciples wrote any of the gospel books My question who are the authors of the gospel books and how reliable are they? 3 Likes |

DedeNkem:God didn't "Sacrifice" Jesus Christ, men did that, just like they did to many other prophets between Him, including John the Baptist. He gave His only begotten Son in order to create more Sons of God...basically using the one to clone the rest. Is that not a way of creating Sons for Himself? |

Since it is written in human language, all you need is basic language comprehension skills in other to understand the story. That rather than having other reading it and you feeding of their amounts to brain vomit. |

denitro:What Atonement? Atonement for what ? Adam and his posterity would be like..whom? What about Abel, Adam's own progeny who was declared righteous by God, was he, Abel, also like your "Lucifer"? The other righteous men of Old and even of the time of Jesus Christ, how come even without Jesus Christ, they stood righteous -not fallen or lost? |

annyplenty:Just so you know Faith refers to works done in obedience to God's commandments. So the faith of those who move to Israel to live and obey the commandments of God there would not be dead. Only the gentile world would remain trapped in God's condemnation of sin, Death(no afterlife). |
Re: What If Jesus Did Not Resurrect? by Kobojunkie: 2:02am On Apr 05, 2021 |
advocatejare:Jesus Christ did not die for the sins of mankind. He died because of the sins of His people instead.. Isaiah prophesied it. Before Jesus Christ showed up on the scene, it only the Israelites that has sins that could b forgiven ;those in the gentile world were already judged and condemned to die so they were sort of the walking "dead" of the time. So, when Jesus Christ showed up, It was His defeat of Death that was on behalf of the gentiles. |

advocatejare: All what you've written up there is nothing but salad. Of course Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلمis an essential part of this religion. Without the messenger there's no message. But that doesn't raise him to the status of divinity and it doesn't give him a share of worship. Islam is strictly a religion of monotheism. You're only deluding yourself by trying to force your paracletic polytheism onto it. There's no scholar or book of tafseer that says Allaah's solah upon the prophet means prayer. That interpretation is from you and unto you. It holds no air let alone water. Since you've decided to continue wallowing in your delusion, ignorance and arrogance. I'll leave you to it. No time to be going back and forth with you. You'll get no further reply. |

Incognito403:I know it will get to a point where you'd run away. So you expected your Tafseer and Scholars who are known to be masters in deception to expose how your so called god is praying to Muhammad? They are ashamed and want to continue keeping you in darkness that's why they deliberately mis translated Salah, assalatu as blessings instead of the correct meaning which is prayers. Go and check in the Arabic dictionary for the meaning of those words and stop listening to liars that you call scholars Your god of Islam, Muhammad asked commanded you to sends your prayers(assalatu) to him when he's dead, and he lied that prophets of God don't get rotten in the grave. Muhammad is rotten in the grave which proved him to be a liar and for asking you to submit your prayers to him he has elevated his status as your god. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie:That's the lie that Allah the best of the deceivers told you. Jesus' mission is to the whole world but the first call are the Jews and then the whole world Isaiah 42.6 - "I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, John.3.14 - Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, John.3.15 - that everyone[b] who believes in him may have eternal life. John.3.16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Mark.16.15 - He said to them, " Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Mark.16.16 - Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved , but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Now, lete burst your lies that Muhammad was sent to the whole world, according to your Quran, that's a lie The same Allah said, he sent messengers in the language of his people, so muhammad was sent only to the Arabs in their language, Arabic and not to the world as you Muslims lie about "And We did not send any messenger except in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise." (QS. Ibrahim 14: Verse 4) Muhammad was sent to his people in his language, and not in other language. Hence Muhammad was not sent to the world Muhammad was sent to the people of Meccan and arab peninsula: "And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Qur'an that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Makkah] [/b]and those around it and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze." (QS. Ash-Shura 42: Verse 7) "And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, [b]that you may warn the Mother of Cities and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers." (QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 92) Muhammad wasn't sent to you according to the words of your Quran, muhammad was sent to those in Mecca and arab peninsula. 1 Like |

Kobojunkiee:It is funny you say “God never came to heal or save the world,” when the Bible said he literally created the world. How do you create something you are incapable of properly maintaining. We have billions of people living a life of pain and agony, and all these could have been avoided if God did not create humans. |
Re: What If Jesus Did Not Resurrect? by Incognito403: 12:20pm On Apr 05, 2021 |
advocatejare:Lol, it's your own tafseer of the Quran that is reliable. You see, this is one of the biggest problems of you people. You misinterprete (rather interpolate) the Quran and try to shove your erroneous interpretation of the Quran down the throat of Muslims. It's sheer stu.pidity to try to teach an author what he intended in his own book. Abeg, continue wallowing in your delusion, ignorance and arrogance. |

Re: What If Jesus Did Not Resurrect? by Kobojunkie: 2:30pm On Apr 05, 2021 |
Lotechi:You are confusing things here. God created the world alright, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with His ability to maintain His creation a all. He created this instead to be "maintained" by man, and so He gave it over the man, as far as manintainance is concerned. So if you want healing and saving of the world, take your issues up with Man. Man has not handed it back to God so I don't see why you expect God to then come in to heal and save it...I mean save it from whom...man? God created humans, yes, but if humans hated their life of agony and pain, as you call it, they could always choose death, thanks to the first man making certain by his choices that is added to the equation. If life is as you say pain and agony, then why procreate? Human chose to multiply their ranks into the billions knowing fully well what is in store for them as they do. So I am not sure where you find God to blame in all of this still. |
