Gbam well said. they better do 50-50 daily with house chores instead of just helping us out else we will continue to also help them out financially whenever we feel like as working wives

The decision whether a wife should or should not work should be made by those involved in the relationship considering what is best for them and most importantly if they plan on having and raising children.

If the man is financially solid enough to guarantee financial security for his family now and in the near future, the wife have no business working and slaving for anybody unless she is doing it for the wrong reason. She should take on her role as the home maker and take good care of her home, her husband and children and make the home a place to be. The children will benefit from her undivided attention and care. as raising an academically successful children is a very difficult and challenging task, expecially if they live in the West. The mother have a huge role to play in making sure the children turn away from drugs, gang and tenage pregancy by creating a conducive, stable and loving home for her family. She can not do this effectively if she slave arround working and looking for more $ like the man, while allowing the children to raise themselves. if they children are very young, daycare is not the answer.

Yes, the global economic crises make it difficult for one income to sustain most family this days and as such, most woman have had to roleup their sleeves and enter the work force to bring in extra income to support their family, and help her husband ease the family financial burden if he is not doing well financially.

Finally a woman that decides to stay at home and look after her family is not a liability, her work is very important and the money that her husband make from working should be available to her as well.
