SHUT UP. HE IS SAYING THE TRUTH. Oyinbo asss licker.

The British ruled for 80 years, exporting our resources, and at the end we did not have a single power plant or university or expressway or industry.

Kainji dam was our first power plant, commissioned by the Balewa administration in 1964.

Prior to that the British merely imported a few industrial generators to power the GRAs they were living in, while the rest of Nigeria used lanterns and candles.

Nigeria was a near total bush in 1960 at independence with mass illiteracy and malnutrition.

What did your 'perfect white man' do with the trillions he made from our exports in 80 years?

You are VERY LUCKY we gained independence in 1960 which led to mass education investment by the black govts.

Or else by now you would be hunting cockroaches and tapping palm wine in the bush like your illiterate grandpa did under colonial rule.

Rest. The greatest plunder has been by people of our kind, our brothers and sisters who took power since independence have run the country aground. Many countries have advanced since they attained nationhood. The most heartbreaking plunder is the one perpetuated by our leaders.

You shut up!

Over 60 years after the exit of the said Colonial masters, black leaders have continually and consistently pillaged and plundered the collective wealth of our Nation, turned the average man into beasts of burden while feeding on pittance, and you're shamelessly agreeing with the jaundiced opinion of your oppressors in his desperate attempt to shift blames. Continue wading in your murky pool of mental slavery while suffering the ills and aches of this colossaly failed crop of leadership.

Aturu!

First it was the white man exploiting us
Now it's people who look exactly like us and they seem to be way worse than the white man.

Back then the white man stole from us and took the monies to their land to build structures, invest etc

Today our politicians are stealing from their own ancestral land and taking the monies to the white man's land to invest in properties

Correct. And that's because despite the end of colonialism but our elites and ruling class are produced through the institutions created by Europeans. So our leaders are nothing but our new colonial masters.

When the generation of Africans born from the 1920's to 1940's all die, we may enter a new age of African thinking. Those in that age bracket are part of our problem because they grew up with the colonial mentally.

The colonial masters plundered the resources, but still left more than enough while leaving in 1960...

The real question today is how well did you Mr. Abubakar and your failed generation of rogues manage what was left??!

A lot of nations with far less back then invested and grew their little. Today, your brother Buhari goes to them for loans!!!

Instead of humbling themselves and begging for mercy from their children, whose future they embezzled, these failed elders have the temerity to speak, to even apportion blames to foreigners.

It seems all Nigerian leaders are fools. I swear!

Lets even assumed this was the case pre 1960, how have we as a people handled our resources since then?

This same man spuing this trash joined in plundering our resources when he was head of state in 1998-1999.

White bearded fool!!!

The British left us with more than what they took, and we still had good Schools, Universities, Colleges , Hospitals, Railways, Roads, Factories, Civil, Services , Effective Police Military and Security , Health Inspectors, Justice System even the Prison System was infinitely better

Look at the Independence Photos Nigerians looked Healthy and well fed and there was no single Pothole in the Roads

Even the Dogs at the side of the road looked Healthy and fed

The British built kaduna, Enugu , Jos , Kafanchan and Port Harcourt from almost nothing and we are still enjoying them Today

I agree with you on these ascertained but the remaining resources are been shared by you, IBB, Buhari, OBJ, Gowon and co. Without restructuring the nation for equitable distribution of the resources.

You introduced the 18k minimum but your successors weren't implementing it either or thinking of increasing it. The new minimum 30k wage is a mirage no one want to implement couple with insecurity and dilapidated state of the nation.

Happy Independence Day Nigeria....!
