Kanu's release must be predicated on very stiff conditions. First, he must publicly renounce his Biafra agitation and express full and unwavering commitment to Nigeria's unity. He must be made to recite the Nigerian national anthem and pledge of allegiance on national television, and willingly join politics like normal people do. Either that or he should be allowed to rot in prison while his trial keeps getting endlessly postponed. The truth is, if his trial is allowed to continue, he would most likely be sentenced to death. No two ways about it. He'll be executed and heaven will not fall, except for maybe some unrest in the SouthEast which would abate after sometime. I'm sure the igbo leaders are aware of this hence their meeting with the FG.

Am sorry i couldnt hold my peace. But you reason like a Zombie.

You want to force someone. A normal human to believe in what you believe?

Unity of Nigeria my left yash.. can you tell me just 3 similarity between Hausa, Igbo anf youruba.

Is it the food?
Culture?
Language?
Religion?
Dressing style?

Etc?

What do we all share in common that makes us United?

Have we ever been United before?

Rubbish!!!!

If he is executed it will put Nigeria in a worse scenario than 2nd world war. In fact Nigeria will not survive it

The FG should not accede to their request. This Is like begging Goverment to forgive late Boko haram leader Shekau.

The demand is not heavy if only he's willing and ready to release him. He should just dialogue with the duo of Kanu and Sunday Igboho for a better and United Nigeria

NK is very foolish to allow himself to be caught like a goat......he would have been killed & dispossed off by DSS in Kenya... nobody would have know what happens or unlock d mystery of his disappearance painted with a lot of conspiracy theories.

It's really an assailable demand on Mr. President to erroneously terminate a judicial process that is in motion.

The only political solution to Kanu's case is to avail him a fair trial. Anything short of this will be immoral, grossly inconsistent, demeaning and unacceptable.

Pls avoid quoting my mention comparing MNK case with pardoned Boko haram fighters.
One of the clear differences between their respective cases is that MNK case is before the law court.

But the political solution to protect the Taylor cop from being prosecuted is moral and acceptable ?
Boko Haram and bandit who committed various degrees of crime against the country and humanity were rebranded repentant Boko Haram and were given state pardon and executive treatment , is that polite, acceptable and moral ?
There is nothing too big to sacrifice for peace.
Remember, recently the Attorney General of federation recently affirmed there's a possible way to resolve Kanu case.

The powers of the HAGF to enter a Nolle are not in doubt and does not amount to interference in the Judiciary. Truth is Nnamdi Kanu will return to his ways once released and of the country. He should face his trial. His Lawyers say they are ready and he has not plea bargained.

Igbo leaders should as a matter of urgency put their house in order arm their people and seek for international support because by next year Buhari and fulani/Kanur plans against the southern Nigeria will be fully implement and no escaping for anybody in this country even Yoruba Muslims will not be not escaped.

Interfering with our judiciary system buhari might be impeached grin grin

And, if also care is not taken

A massive protest might erupt against buhari grin grin

where were these ones when he was inciting hate with his incendiary radio broadcasts ?.Were they deaf and dumb ?

The best buhari can do at this point is let the judicial process go through and then grant him an executive pardon.

You are wrong. The case being in court, or in motion already, as you stated, is irrelevant.

If the president wishes, he can have his justice minister file a 'Nolle prosequi' today on the case, and the case will be legally over today, and nnamdi kanu will immediately be released, all within the law.

However, I'm of the opinion that nnamdi kanu should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Thats just my personal preference.

Igbo leaders went to Aso Rock and instead of demanding for better development and industrialisation of the South East, they went there to request for the release of a deranged IPOB leader, whose utterances and actions has lead to the death of many innocent lives.

Foolish old men!

That their chief is lying that" I have control over the igbos" I don't why Buhari didn't ask him what he was doing when this MNK was busy mocking, insulting and tarnishing the image of Buhari and Nigeria, where was he. The Hausas and Yorubas know that "igbos are igbos" they will never change and they are they enemies of the system. They don't care and if you mistakenly give them what they ask, the next thing they will do is to kill you instantly. The ratio of sincere and faithful igbos is negligible or very small. Be ware of
