I asked questions not judgement. I understand there is more to the story. However, if someone comes with a marriage proposal and then a delay, it is an indication of unseriousness. A marriage proposal is actually followed by a marriage and the time difference is typically months and not years.

Alot to the story. After the proposal, we realise the guy was under pressure of his dad who wishes to see all his children get married before he die. The man died months later, the guy served for a yr, my sis schooling.... We cant just impose marriage on him knowing fully well he is not ok with it

Don't decieve your self, it is for everyone, Only if you work toward it. There are bad trait in most of us, especially women. That we have to drop, for example, leeching, entitlement, selfishness. And a lot more, a lady having such characteristics who would want to settle down with such, and she would come out to console herself saying marriage is not for everyone, i know we all have our flaws, but we have to work on ourselves, most people read the bible, for reading, and hardly practice what they understood.

OP you're putting yourself under too much pressure.

Just stop searching consciously and be open-minded,meet people and build friendships.

When all this marriage issues leave your mind for now and you're just building meaningful friendships,somehow you will meet someone when you don't even expect it.

To be honest my friend. It is when you are looking for something that it is always the most difficult time you get exactly what you want.
