Yes you can but if you haven’t gotten your BRP, no one will employ you… The term time starts on your school resumption date, but any date before then, you can work without the restrictions of 20hr/week

Ok guys I just wanted to make sure i am calculating the right amount of money needed for my POF ( with a dependent). Can someone help me confirm if this is right??

Balance of my tuition fee - 6950
Maintenance- 9207
For my dependent- 6120
Total- 22,277 pounds

Roughly 12.6Million naira according to today oando rate of 562 naira per pounds.

I am thinking doing a POF of 14million naira, I hope this is more than enough.

Exactly, UKVI agents or officers may still have account in this Nairaland and thread to monitor everything going on. That's how they get first hand information. So be guided.

Thank you everyone for the support provided here.

Can anyone please confirm whether the first-degree certificate is one of the mandatory documents to be submitted while applying for Visa? An unconditional offer was issued by the school after the submission of the statement of result and transcript.

That’s not true, there is no airport without immigration officers and your passport will be stamped even if you entered the UK by road. Your passport will be stamped at Glasgow airport

I was told you have to book a return flight ticket first, process the FORM A and take the printout to the Bank Branch you selected. I’m in the same Shoe as you too. Which Airline did you booked? I was told to stay away from the ones that requires Transit Visa

Dec 31 biometrics (Ikj, standard) sent and received at Vac yesterday. Fingers crossed.

An adult male (father) travelling alone with a minor , is any special document required other than the flight ticket, passport and other regular documents?

You are good to go!

Also, ensure you do a bit of transactions on the account. Say, maybe do a transfer of 50-100k to the account once a while within the 28 days. To show there’s activity on it and to avoid reduction as a result of fluctuations of exchange rate.

Cancellation of return ticket depends on the kind of ticket you book.

All airlines allow cancellation

1. Dependents can get visa on/with a Pre-masters/Top-up program applicant.

2. Does one have to present POF for the balance on school fee for the complete duration of the 2 years program after paying the deposit or is it for just the 1st year of study?
