Designate a staff to take the proceeds to the bank at least 2-3times a day possibly by 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Take the evening sales home. That way, you will greatly minimize the loss.

I once had similar experience years back, after a day sales of 865k, I decided that night to recount and rearrange the cash base on denomination in preparation for the next day bank deposite, after the recount everything was intact, suddenly Nepa took light and I was the only person in my clocked room, I called my house help to on the gen.
