they are not military sir neither are they civilian the reason they'd always flex muscle on you not in uniform. Uniform men would always want to display their might wether military or police ones they're putting on that uniform.

you'll feel insulted too if you're a security personnel and you are harassed by any uniform person. What ever happened to esprit de corp.

Please I don't understand what you mean my withstanding operation but I know police duties like escort, rioting and many others make their operations section and it is these police in operations that are used to form joint operations with the Army and other security agencies so would it be fine if the police can withstand the operations since they have even been doing it in joint operations with the Army, SSS and Civil Defence? I may be wrong though and sorry I'm not police officer.

A quick reminder, Nigeria Police is not a Dept but a Force (NPF). They use automatic rifles and Machine Guns, Involve in peace keeping (Somalia, very deadly)
