Go to Kano and see good roads with 5 - 6 lanes on each side built with solid martials.
Traveling from Lekki phase 1 to ibeju lekki is just 2 lanes. No connecting bridges. Sands have
taken over many portions of the road. The roads are narrow, pot holes everywhere.
From sangotedo to Ajah bridge is like passing through hell fire. Too much traffic due to bad roads and heavy trucks.
Ajah is just a name. Inner roads are worse. No good water and no alternative routes to V.I
These road look substandard. Lagos do not construct quality roads. The only good road in Lagos is the one constructed by Dangote from
Oworonshoki to Apapa road.
I do not know why the present government in Lagos find it difficult to demolish some structures and expand their roads.
Akowonjo road is too narrow due to illegal structures from vulcanizer bus stop to egbeda. Ikotun and shasha road are worse than all roads in Central African Republic and Somalia.
Most times i wonder what the LASG does with the money they generate through IGR

Honestly, with due respect, some of you guys need to travel out of the country and see that nothing is really happening here in Nigeria. The third world nations are really advancing and Lagos is nowhere to be seen. We hype about our nation with 210 million people producing only 4 thousands mega watt compared with south Africa of just partly of 50 million and Egypt, producing upto 50 thousand mega watt. The most underated state today is Akwaibom, take it or leave it. Lagos is still a huge jungle.

What are you doing about it? Are you not Nigerian?

How do we work to change our low expectations of these looter we call leaders

1. Sensitization- We should all be active online and talk more about politics,enlighten each other and make millions of Nigerians aware of what's going on here and around the world.
2. We should request for open account like BVN,we should know how much each sector has,everything should be uploaded on a website and we should know how every penny is been spent,how much is been made,every arm of government should upload the details of each disbursement on the website and it should be only one website with sub divisions for each state,constituency and one for federal government. We should know how our money is been spent so that we should be able to investigate individually and raise eyebrows on the website if there is any foul play. Nothing should be kept discreet and hidden as far as financial affairs in Nigerian government and governance is concerned.
3. The should be a platform for whistle blowing on the same website. In such a case that even a councillor can be reported,a corrupt judge or civil servant can be reported,etc.
4. All our leaders should have an account on the website which is going to be in form of an online community for Nigerians and the website should be designed as a forum very similar to Nairaland.
5. If we can stage protests to end police brutality and extortion like ''#Endsars'',why can't we stage a protest to request for accountability with the idea I stated above. It should be more important to us. Only a handful of people would be affected by police brutality but non accountability affects everybody in this country directly or indirectly

we shouldn't be proud of infrastructures like this pls. Structures like this are nothing compared to what they have in Dubai and Lagos is been around for several decades.
