Just say they are artistes of yesteryears, no need dragging them into the fame talk. Some had content, while some were straight garbage and focus on the beat, while some were just there, quite experimental but their sounds was lost to time, some have move on to better things e.g Kas and a lot I discovered that fame have it consequences and they can't tame it so they opt out.. 2 Likes |

I think their time has passed. Usually Nigeria musicians don't maintain their fame for long because they don't have real musical ideas, their music majorly Yoruba oriented and are only enjoyed in the most popular Lagos and Yoruba people as well as the mentally lame folks Nationwide so other musicians just come with the same Yoruba love noise and people abandon the old ones for them so even the new guys trending for you all now will soon fade out. I am yet to listen to all my Kendrick Lamar albums, J.cole albums, Drake, Tyga, all the uncountable 2pac doets, Jay z, fabulous, J.rock, ASAP Rocky, school boy q, Bryson tiller etc I'm yet to enjoy them to my satisfaction so what the hell will Naija artists and their Yoruba gibberish songs about bitches be doing on my playlists? The lame ducks are popular because majority of the masses are so dumb i guess, my country people love to make stupid lame musicians popular because the trash they dish out corresponds with the mentality of an average Naija youth. 5 Likes |

Burna Boy should top that list, he doesn't even deserve to be called a boy. He's a baby, Burna Baby. He can't handle fame that's why he's misbehaving everyday......I won't be surprised if he beats up someone's mother tomorrow. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

paulolee: Actually, that's life for you. Many senior prefects in secondary schools that year have ended up being an average civil servants today. In football, many youngsters like Sinama Pongolle, Boja, Chrisantus, etc couldn't replicate their early success later in life. Quaresma was better than Ronaldo during their early stage in Portugal, but what happened to them now is different. Andre 3000, Scarface, LL Cool J, Redman, etc were the biggest hits in the early 90s, but where are they today in terms of music? 11 Likes |

For me what killed ice prince was repetition . After ice prince dropped aboki , he tried to make every other song sound like aboki and we got tired . He went on hiatus for years and we forgot him Tonero5200: 8 Likes |
