PHIPEX: Buhari and Tinubu are not the reason why Nigerians are not drinking beer, our young folks and middle-class folks are not drinking beer like their fathers and rand fathers, they drink wine, Vodka, Champagne, Hennessy Whiskey, and so on, this is what you see on the table when you go to events, parties and weddings, you hardly see beer on the table. Beer is going out of fashion and it's not Buhari's fault. Abeg, come up with a sensible excuse for your poor investment choices, And instead of changing direction like properly managing the investment against risks and downturns, they left the investment in that company unattended, they did not pay attention to losses and the fact that they are not getting dividends and return on investment for their money, they did not diversify, but Buhari is responsible for their poor choices and incompetence. 1 Like |

If you are a tinubu or atiku supporter, sorry, good leaders like peter obi is beyond your scope. You should argue with your fellow supporters of corrupt politicians. You have no credibility to demand for anything better than the crap you are supporting. |

plaindealer:Peter obi left office more than 8yrs ago. He did his Job by securing for his state a profitable investment. He and his the immediate past governor are not on very good terms. And peter obi is not a godfather that rules after he has left office. As much as we can blame the immediate past governor for not carefully monitoring the investments(they call him a drunk afterall), we can not divorce buhari from the main fault here. That old guy messed up our macro economics. Investments suffering across board. The only person with the least fault here is peter obi. While his mates were looting, he was investing for his state. That is a good leader. 1 Like |

shigishege:So u cant tell us what Tinubu did with the Billions he Borrowed? You people always say that Tinubu generated much revenue for Lagos state, i agree.. but where is the money? what did he use #530 billion loan he borrowed for? what did he used the $143 million dollars he borrowed for? we de complain of Buhari borrowing, go and read about ur master Tinubu. So u were deef when Okonjo iwela told the then Government of this coming recession and asked state Government to invest and save? You are here blaming an economists that understood the implication of what the finance minister said and obeyed, yet you praise the Governors that embezzled funds and even borrowed Billions too.. chaii..ur IQ level is below 20% walahi. So you cant mention what Tinubu was doing before he became Governor? Why is Tinubu still collecting individual task from every shop in every market in Lagos state? After explaining all these, if u still expect me to tell you that Tinubu is the most corrupt Politician in Nigeria, then you will wait for Long. I have my fellow sincere yorubas that know who Tinubu truly is. Ask Obanikoro or Jimi Agbaje who Tinubu is |

CSTRR: Parking money inside a secret bank account is now transparent and of good quality. Is it possible for something to be secret and transparent at the same time? Do you even know what you are talking about? Is dodging taxes that you must pay in Nigeria a good and transparent quality? People like you cry about bad roads, no water, electricity, and so on, but people like crooked and unpatriotic Oha Pandora are not paying taxes in their massive wealth to build the roads and bridges that they walk and drive on. Obi Pandora is crooked, corrupt and an unpatriotic leech on society. |

You are like him in that he is reasonable and can do what you just did. His mind about Buhari was made up. We were friends here but he couldn't bear the shame of Buhari's performance within 18 months. Sir, join me now to campaign for Obi. Obi will help all of us. I am not from Anambra but I have lived here since his days in the Government house and I am talking from a point of experience. |

agabaI23: you are clearly ignorant. I borrow 1m from the bank, I am due payment every month today is 22nd and my payment is not due till 30th. it is fraudulent for me not to include my loan (liability or debt) of 1m simply because it is not due till 30th. i have been through this adnauseum. it is fraud!!! it presents a picture of me being more financially buoyant than I am. Plus it breaches all rules of accounting. agabaI23: I deal in facts, you on the other hand dont seem to want to,. I have already told you that Obi's handover statement that you keep posting is actually evidence of accounting fraud because he failed to include the N185B contract. i have explained this many times and i wont go through it again with every Obi supporter, You can read my posts in this thread. The picture you keep posting to attract my attention is a fraudulent statement of accounts. liabilities. In your ignorance you dont know you are posting evidence of fraud. At least you know if presented with facts i will recant, now you show you are capable of same. below is a post on the same issue I will not keep repeating myself with every Obi supporter. Obi commited accounting fraud in his handover notes. casualobserver: casualobserver: 1 Like |

OmoEpe: Stop being clever by half. The black market rate shouldn't be used to calculate the value of investment when you used official rate initially, black market isn't used for official calculationsI did not do that. Check my attachment 2) Even at that the ROI is less than 8% per annum, that is daylight robbery because fixing the money would have done 2.5times that value.Did you read the article? Did you see anything about the recession? etc 3) If the investment was in rice mills or local agricultural sector, apart from the employment that would have been generated, the ROI would have been more same for tax and revenue for the state.By a billionaire who had been investing before possibly your mother was born? Lagos had a similar investment of #4bn in econet but few years after it appreciated to $19bn, it was removed to fund the Lagos State Teaching Hospital, which today gets referrals from even FG teaching hospitals, part was used as counterpart funding for LAMATA which gave rise to BRT buses still being enjoyed till today.Where is the money? It was liquidated through an unknown broker into a private wallet. The difference in the 2 scenario is the quality if thinking if Asiwaju and Peter ObiGive your company for Tinubu to run not Nigeria |

Let us agree to ignore the dollar equivalent of the investment. would an investment that yields a 14% increase in 10 years be considered a smart investment. Why would I put billions of naira into an investment that would only yield 14% profit at the end of 10 years? I don't understand what the OP is trying to defend but it just doesn't make any economic sense. |

There is a lot of mathematical misappropriation in all of these calculation. Breaking it down in very simple terms, what ever investment you make and got less than 20% profit in the Nigeria of today is a loss by default. Negative profit margin sets in first by inflation then by exchange rate both have been in double digits for the past four years. Nigeria is at loss. The Almighty CBN is running and managing huge losses. An average Nigerian will manage the Nigeria economy better when compared to all of the prodigal sons and daughters parading empty certificates in the name of Doctoral and Proferssorship in their failed endeavours. They are all reduced to debt managers because they can't solve simple problems with all their scholastic profile and prowess. But a Time is coming that their billions and assets will be worth nothing when a government that knows what it's doing gets into power. Most of the daft slowpoke parading themselves as billionaires with exotic properties with little commercial values, will never be able to soar above the tide for 10years when when real economist are in power. Only real investors and knowledgeable experts will keep above the tide. All these opportunistic billionaires that are all culprits and beneficiaries in the pit of debt being dug by incorrigible Nigerians for well meaning Nigerians, will all be brought to their knees someday. Vote whoever you like they don't have the solution. |
