Nothing Nigeria here. Stop deceiving the people. Say Yoruba.

Do you know who was responsible for a big chunk of finance for that Lekki deep sea port project, Chinese? They are coming to recoup their investments.

Mumu dey say Yoruba as if she will even get the opportunity to work in the port being a Yoruba. Tinubu keeps deceiving you people in Lagos using Yoruba rhetoric but only getting himself rich in the process. Lagos is a centre of commerce for all Nigerians, thanks to these ports. Igbos are making much more money in Lagos than even Yoruba's.

How is a seaport Tinubu's vision

It is because the seaport is inside and part of the FTZ he envisioned, the record and facts are there, you hateful and bitter people either won't read or too frustrated and disillusioned with your own village backward and stagnated realities.

Why are you contradicting urself?? what does awolowo free Education got to do with what we're saying here? if Lagos is a city of millions having no metro and the likes I'll indeed like to know ur state/region of hundreds people to arrive at a point of our argument
It is obvious to those who have brains

Human development is the most important that is EDUCATION

YOU are not from Lagos state so stop the shakara
I am
That is why we are resolutely opposed to Tinubu
At any rate that is changing the subject the point is there is nothing to celebrate in Lagos
Tinubu will not use the hospitals and neither will his family
His family do not use LASU so what is the noise about Lagos
My history of Nairaland is there . I have given Tinubu credit for his contribution to Lagos which was in decline when he came to power but many of you over embellish what he has done. Lagos could have done better it its revenue was not being stolen That is the unmistakable truth
Lagos can do better

There is no evidence that everything we see is Tinubu's vision. Ithink that is too generous and hyperbolic
It is a biassed statement that has no objective proof. Anyhow Human development remains a major problem in Lagos in the areas of Education and Healthcare. Tinubu does not have surgery in Lagos , his children do not attend LASU and unemployment and crime are major worries

I do agree that the Niger Delta governors could do more . It is not just a Tinubu issue but a Yoruba issue. The bitter truth is the Yoruba are more politically advanced and if you want to give credit for vision the real owner is Awolowo NOT Tinubu.

Lagos State is made up of five Divisions
Lagos The former FCT
Ikorodu
Badary
Ikeja
Epe
4 divisions Epe,Badagry , Ikeja and Ikorodu were under the Western region till 1966 and the foundation for what we see across the state was laid by Awolowo NOT Tinubu

.Awolowo rose from the grave to establish FTZ in Lekki, Western Region...

Instead of opening up the seaport in other states, they are still concentrating everything in Lagos.

Besides we need Lekki Airport more than we need Lekki Seaport.

Moving from Lekki axis to MMIA to catch your flight is the greatest nightmare any Lekki dweller can face.

Shit can sometimes last from 4-5 hours.

I remember somebody who dropped off someone traveling to London at Ikeja Airport and set back to return to Lekki. He was still in traffic around Ozumba Mbadiwe when the person he dropped off called him that he’s already in London. Madness!

Nah, they won't, they prefer to collect some chicken change and vote aimlessly.

Be deceiving your self. Don’t go and develop your region. Be waiting for Lagos to snap up everything.
Oga, omo Yoruba nimi. What tribal bigots throw up here are bad. One nation one people but under achievers with little or nothing to contribute to the total development of this nation are bent on tearing the country apart. All that is needed is encouragement not tantrum

Stupid talk
If Tinubu can get credit for what happened when he left office why can't Awo
Awo's legacy to our people is education though Tinubu might not have benefitted

This is how we know those of you who are not from Lagos State.
You just open your gobs to talk rubbish.
Is the so called FTZ operating today? What is a free trade zone and why is that a good thing? We have to wait and see because we do not have any experience of what it will look like
So spare us the beer parlour hype. You are not talking with illiterates
You cannot have a free trade zone without Federal Government buy in and appropriate legislation by the Federal Government. Even at that the purported benefits remain to be seen.
Every government conceives one thing or another
UI, Unilag, etc was built by people and no individual goes about taking credit so why is Tinubu's case different . Jakande started LASU in 4 years and he opened the Lekki axis with the road to Epe
The biggest power plant in Nigeria till today is in Lagos State thanks to Jakande again NO NOISE so why is Tinubu's case different. Someone built airports, refineries and much more avross Nigeria in the 70s. Someone built Abuja from scratch NO NOISE
Health and Education un Lagos are TOTAL FAILURE

Being on exclusive list is an irrelevance
I doubt you grasp what exclusive list is about

If you have capital you can build a port.
This port is being built by a private business company
Lagos state provided the site in return for a shareholding . It settled the community that owned the land and resolved all claims

Yes the NPA needs to provide authorization but that is nothing to do with "EXCLUSIVE LIST"

Exclusive list is a list of areas where the NATIIONAL ASSEMBLY alone can make laws and not state Houses of Assembly

Today the law is such that YOU can build a port and the port in Lekki is majority owned by a doreign company I think from Singapore

You have started again. When you're hit with facts now, you'll start talking about misinterpretation.
Anything on the exclusive list is under the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal govt.
Only NPA has the authority to build and operate ports in Nigeria.
NPA in return concessioned the deep seaport to the private company. I hope you know what concession means before you start saying anyone can build a port. Ignorance.
Also note that the free trade zone where the port is being built also belongs to the FG. So I don't know where you got the idea that Lagos acquired the land for the port

Shattaap there. When we live in a monotonous country where everything is built in Lagos. FG built this port with Nigeria's money. This has nothing to do with Lagos government.

If FG decides to move all these facilities to other states the attractiveness of Lagos will reduce. Why didn't they go and build the port in say Akwa Ibom? Yet the state government is doing this by itself since fg has decided to put everything in Lagos.

Shut up!!!!
Federal government don't contributes any money... Lagos gave land, china brought money. So what's your problem with that ??
