You want to sue them for how much exactly, for 40k. Do you know the cost of hiring a lawyer? Can you afford one in your present state...

Apply in the leather factory to work as a labour staff, or any other factory, your pay would be clearly higher than the 10k they pay you.

As for your current employer, they have no plans of paying you, just get another job and forget about them.
I want human rights lawyers to see this n maybe help, thats it.

That's why working with a job agency is usually not advisable. It's normal for them not to pay you the full amount they're paid. However, they're heartless to have hold your salaries even after being paid.

The unfortunate thing about this is that you can't sue them since you didn't mention them giving you application form and signed employment letter to show that you're working with them.

Funny thing is that if you leave now, it means your money is likely to go. However, it's the best thing to do at this moment.

Because they may be owing others like they're owing you. I wish you all the best.
you're right Sir, tnx

Ladies and gentlemen I want your candid advice on how to go about this issue please. Should I go ahead and sue them to pay me my remaining salary or ask the factory owner to avoid the company n pays me directly since he likes me?

Tell the factory owner the whole situation and also tell him you are resigning from the security company and ask if he wants to employ you directly. He will most probably say no because of the contractual terms he has with the security company.

If he says he can not employ you directly then you have no choice but to tell him you are leaving as you can not continue working full time without any salary as you have only been paid 4,000 Naira for 4 months work and before you leave, give the factory owner your personal phone number in case he needs your services later on (which is a possibility) and if he calls you then you can renegotiate a pay of 20,000 Naira (or possibly more) with him directly as you will then have the upper hand.

As for the security company, DO NOT work one day longer for them as they are worse than slave traders.

Look at how well a Security guard who earns 10k per month writes.
So sad mehn.

You need to leave that job. Approach your employer directly and explain your plight to him. Ask him for employment directly.
I'll definitely do that tomorrow, tnx a lot sir

Why don't you quit and start a small hustle. I mean 10k salary is not just worth it. I'm sure you would make more by maybe doing other things. Look inward and try to pinpoint what you are good at. Even if it is lesson teacher, it's still better than that useless job.
oga sir, I've a very big plan on my head just trying to start somewhere. My plan is to work there like for 1yr then gather the money n set up one minute passport stand n nurtured it to business centre

Good day ladies and gentlemen

I was employed as a security guard at a leather factory through a private security company 4months ago but this company never pays me as they said the factory owner did not pay them . But recently I learnt that the factory owner had been paying them.

I went to the office on Friday to confront them about the issue n also told them I will resign. They asked me to wait till today Monday so they'll forward my issue to their head office to get sorted out.

So I went to the office today, they told me I'll only get one month salary today till when they finally sorted it out then they'll pay me the remaining 3months at the same time.

I said, okay no problem. but the thing that pains me so much is that these heartless entities deducted 6k out of 10k salary n left me took home only 4k. They deducted Five thousand naira for uniform which were never given to us n one thousand naira for audio application form fee respectively.

I returned home dejected, despair n feeling defeated with so many things running on my head. It's really paining me right now feeling like to go n burn their office n kill them all or arrange to kidnap them.

Another thing that I discovered is that the factory owner pay my company 20k but they'll pay me 10k. but one thing that always motivated me is that the factory owner usually buys me food n drinks, sometimes even tips me 500 naira. So I feel like I was just saving my salary I'll cash out later whenever they paid me but it end up in tears, anger n gnashing of teeth.

Ladies and gentlemen I want your candid advice on how to go about this issue please. Should I go ahead and sue them to pay me my remaining salary or ask the factory owner to avoid the company n pays me directly since he
likes me?

Why don't you talk to the factory owner direct about what is going on?

He might probably be kind and offer a desired solution

Op i dnt want to wander on how u might have been maltreated or so on how minescule 10 bloody k is, on a normal 10k might not even be much enough to sub for ur internet bills in a month, dnt u pay house rent, dnt u drink water or eat? Jeez. etc. Like i said let me not wander.

seek the face of the owner and explain ur affliction to him, while showing him dat ur ready to be his direct employee.

if u can survive without pay, then leverage on that and quit dat damn slave trade of a security company and look for a better job.. Dats if d owner no gre hire u directly, but dey look for job becoz u no get any,na free work u dey do.

you sound like someone dat ASUU strike is withholdin frm being in a lecture theater, even so guy u have a networth,ur worth more dan 10k a mnt. Nxt tym dnt underprice urself abeg.

justice na for d rich 4 9ja,d company wey u wan sue go just buy d judge and na u go suffa,no do am.

How do people work for months without salary?

Like what fuels you, what drives you to keep going?

I understand giving your employer one month to sort things out, but then you work for month 2,3 and even 4

Burning spare cash that you don't have on transport and feeding at work all in faith that they will have pity on you.
