Transformer is needed for transmission not for GENERATION. Even a secondary school student should know that.

See your audacity of ignorance!! Pathetic!!

Incase you don't know the real problem we have in the power sector is outdated and under capacity transmission network, meaning even if we generate more disco can't transmit steadily cos the networks can't bear it.

As important as "Generating" is, it is a secondary problem in Nigeria and until we upgrade our transmission networks we can't enjoy an optimised generation be it 40,000 megawatt una no go still dey experience interrupted power supply.

Even you aint clear of ignorance, more transformers like that will certain sustain transmission better

The hatred for Oluomo is because he is more prosperous than all the NURTW leaders from Ibo land put together.
Ibos hate anything that does not originate from their region.

There are so many dynamics involved in this. Our over reliance on oil as a major source of foreign exchange coupled with what is going on in the world economy at present is responsible for this. Remember covid and the drop in oil prices?
These are the things I believe our presidential candidates should be talking about rather than pandering to all sorts of nonsense.

@least they did and its still within there tenure, i think that is better compared to a Peter Obi that did nothing to supplement power distribution in Anambra in whole of 8yrs, whereas b4 2007 Tinubu built an hydro plant for lagos and as at the same time Peter obi was governor Saraki built a power plant in ilorin.
Guess what they didnt travel to Egypt to achieve that, govt is continuity just as buhari finished some project inaugurated by yardua/GEJ another govt can continue

Bruv, there are many aspects of that due to Buhari's sentiments and bias that dictates how he wishes to move.

You know this damn well yet keep pretending because your mission is to discredit APC so whoever is your candidate profits.

Some failures are on Buhari and his cabal alone. Everyone knows security fosters peace that enables socio-economic progress.

State security is on all lips because it is the 100% the solution yet me and you know Buhari will never implement it if he leads for 50 years.

We saw his Justice Minister Malami try to frustrate the birth of ordinary Amotekun because Buhari abhors conceding even an ounce of federal power to States and region.

Ditto restructuring. Only a fool will not know Nigeria can never achieve her full potentials, even if Einstein is President, unless we holistically and fundamentally reform our governance structure and system.

Yet Buhari arrogantly announced that those asking for restructuring are "dangerous" . The problem of Nigeria is leadership sincerity and goodwill for every Nigerian wherever they may be from which I think Buhari lacks.

At the heights of the herdmen crisis Tinubu suggested organised and specialist ranching cattle rearing to enable Fulanis transition to modern and more profitable means of animal husbandry as, in his words, "open grazing is no longer tenable".

Yet Buhari federal government declared officially and defiantly that "no going back on grazing routes" across Nigeria. Seriously? In this day and age cattle should still roam the. Streets along grazing routes?

How does development like that not inform people like you of the real problem? Did you miss all these development because you were on Mars?

Things that can instantly transform Nigeria, like State policing and restructuring etal, Buhari will disdainfully reject once his cabal insist those are against the interest of the North.

It is what led Buhari's own Governors from the SW declare what is shown below to escape the inability of the Presidency to act in the best interest of all Nigerians in all States and regions of our country.

That is the reality we are facing you people should not try and spin as an APC problem just to go and land us with a yeye president like the Dubai candidate Atiku, the Northern supremacist called Kwankwaso or the crown prince of lies and empty barrel called Peter Obi.

The problem of Nigeria are well-identified and the solutions are also well-identified by even a smart 10 year old Nigerian child.

When Buhari fails to even contemplate implementing the very obvious solutions, and rather dismisses them arrogantly, this shows the type of President we need to replace him with that, in the mind of any pragmatically intelligent Nigerian, dismisses the choices of Atiku, Kwankwaso and Obi.

What is wrong with his observation is that he doesn't recognize the transformers as one of the major equipment needed to strengthen the national grid which is in a terrible shape. Nigeria can generate 25,000 megawatts today and it wouldn't make any difference unless the national grid is fixed and that is what the Buhari government is doing with the help of Siemens. This is what Obi went to Egypt to understudy.
Incidentally, Siemens is also involved with the Egyptian scheme.

Bro, I really feel pity for you. 7 years and no improvement in power but you’re here saying this?.

Egypt did it in 4 years, it is worth emulating but no, it makes no sense to you because Obi was the one with the initiative.

We’re talking about power here, nothing else, just power. Give credit where it is due and stop locking ass.

There are things I could give PMB credit for and I won’t because of sentiments deny him his flowers where he has done well but power is not one of them.

See them celebrating transformer. Does transformer generate electricity?

Some Nigerians love suffering. You are not enjoying stable power and you are insulting Peter Obi that traveled to Egypt to study how their power infrastructure improved.

National grid under APC can be likened to a married man suffering from erectile dysfunction. We have lost count how many times the national grid has failed.

We need a quantum leap in solving the power problems of Nigeria.

Egypt added 25,000 megawatts (MW) of new power stations to their national electricity grid during the period from June 2014 to June 2018. Got that? 25,000 MW in just 4 years.

In October 2018, project consortium partners Siemens, Elsewedy Electric and Orascom Construction officially unveiled one of the largest combined cycle megaprojects in Beni Suef,
Egypt. The teams completed three plants totalling 14,400 MW in a record time of 27.5 months at the cost of €6 billion.

Buhari has been in power for 7 years +, how many megawatts has been added? He keeps borrowing and borrowing with no tangible thing to show for it. Some of you are like victim of ponzi schemes. Can't you see APC has scammed you for the past 7 years?

Peter Obi is looking for solutions to transform Nigeria, while others are looking for how to be in power.

Few months to go, that's when Buhari remembers he will buy transformers.
See finishing... Thanks for correcting the dullard
