Viral video of mob stripping lady for allegedly robbing POS operator with toy gun (Video)

A viral video has shown the moment a lady was apprehended and stripped after she was allegedly caught while trying to rob a Point of Sale (POS) terminal operator with a toy gun somewhere in the southeast.

The lady who wore a leg chain on her left leg and has her hair dyed ash colour was accused of pretending to be a customer before pulling a toy gun on a POS operator.

The victim of the robbery was said to have raised an alarm, attracting the attention of layabouts and others in the vicinity.

The video shows the crowd trying to strip the lady who holds tightly to the leg of a man.

Hands from various directions tug at her top, while some tug at her knickers.

She can be heard appealing to the crowd in Igbo, but no one is listening to her. The crowd succeed in exposing the lady and throw her clothes down beside her as they continue to interrogate her.

The video has been greeted with mixed reactions online as most people noted that the lady should have been handed over to the police instead of debasing her.

A few people insisted that she got what she deserved for stealing with a toy gun. Many also argued that if it was a man, they would have beaten him to a pulp and set him ablaze.

I'm not even a fan of jungle justice, but stop trying to play the victim card. More men than women are caught and stripped nude before being beaten and/or burnt to death. We don't see your lot screaming wolf like you are rn. Or male nudity isn't something to be protected? You're implying that a man's nudity is okay but a woman's nudity is something holistic. I can bet my left leg that seeing as the culprit is female, she's 70% less likely to get lynched by the mob. Of course, the usual assortment of perverts on ground will do their best to maximize the opportunity and get her naked so they can ogle her. So just to let you all know I'm tired of everything, sad that depression is eating me up and I'm fighting it everyday but I'm almost about to give in because I feel empty drained and depressed.

She’s a meth user looking for funds to acquire her next hit. The police should extra-judiciously execute any top producer of the drug in the country. I can’t believe people will move away from cheap alcohol to such addictive substance. As for stripping her, let’s hope it ended there and they took her to a mental asylum afterward.
