[quote author=Throwback post=119451612]I laugh at this OP. He does not know that in Nigeria, a 61yr old politician who has been active in the political terrain for 20yrs since 2002, and has been a political prostitute and desperate ticket hunter jumping from party to party without grooming any to greatness nor espousing a well defined ideology / manifesto, is the self acclaimed youth who wants to give us a new Nigeria. Some deluded youths even claim the 61yr old typical politician is the youth candidate. See below the delusion I just narrated. [ You "the Biafra youths" who do not know the difference between youth and grandpa. Put that adjective before the youths if you don't want koboko] |

You don't elect anyone on thr basis of age alone. You elect your leaders based on their capacity to lead regardless of age and gender. There many young local government chairmen and Governors that are incompetent right now in Nigeria. I'm voting for the man with record of getting things done. I'm not voting based on promises but what have you done previously when you had the opportunity to rule. |

Superwave16320: I am not here to support or disparage any candidate. They are all products of our mediocrity-laced culture. Regardless of who goes in there, he will not be held accountable because the Nigerian populace expects so little and once religion and tradition come into the mix, people that you thought are sane and highly educated will start making surprising illogical statements. People will start making excuses and telling you how he has tried, they will start telling you that America is 240 years while Nigeria is only 65, as if we are just discovering electricity or the internet. |

Do not just mention Macron and Sunak. Have you heard them speak? They are quality. Do we have many of such youths in Nigeria - deep thinkers and analytical who have been forged for governance. We all know where most of our youths are seriously active. It is not just about youths in term of age, rather QUALITY! |

Sadly in Nigeria none of the front runners is young. They are as close to graveyard as the are close to hell. Only the Accord party candidate comes to mind. |

CoronaVirusRelo: You're obviously the most stupid person on nairaland.. What is your business with who he has chosen to vote for .. the majority of Nigerian voters who will be voting For Peter Obi come February are urchins like you You actually think putting up these trashes can make anyone change their mind on voting Peter Obi's LP Well I know urchins are brainless though For your information, I will be taking money from both PDP & APC but I will still vote Peter Obi, not because I need their stolen money but bc while it's certain they will lose the election i also want them to lose the stolen money they stalked. So you can commit suicide because Nigerians with vote massively for Peter Obi's Labour Party(LP)

We need a youth not those bunch of old men. We're voting ACCORDingly. It's Youth O'clock! We need a listening leader not the one who'll stay at Aso Rock and refuse to come down. We need someone who has the interest of the people at heart. We're not voting based on popularity or racism - we're voting based on competency. 39 years old Professor Christopher Imumolen of the Accord party represents the voice of the Nigerian youths. PCI is our choice |

It was not the people that elected Sunak. He would fail in a general election. |
