It’s no secret that the stress level of Lagos is very high.
However, of what use is Abeokuta’s less chaotic atmosphere if it doesn’t put money in one’s pocket?
The bitter truth is that there are no jobs in Abeokuta.
Except if one decides to settle for petty business. But even that itself doesn’t do so well because of the fact that the residents of the city have very low purchasing power.
So where does that leave us? Just increased poverty and hopelessness.
The question again is; of what use is the calmness and serenity if it doesn’t put money in the pockets.
Though it needs to be said that those that work in private sector and are paid the same wage and salaries with those in Lagos are the ones truly enjoying Abeokuta.

True
ABEOKUTA is a civil servant state.
If they don't collect salary, market is dull. Immediately they collect salary , market/banks go dey bubble. ABEOKUTA is far better than sagamu and ijebu ode.

You know how to argue endlessly, but one thing that cannot be taken away from your debates is how logical your points are. However, I wish never to be involved in any debate with you. grin

I left Lagos State for kano and I have never regretted it. The only people that relocates from Lagos and regret are those that go to Alaigbo. High cost of living,no jobs and insecurity

I am not here to engage on fruitless and baseless arguments.

Seaports, and airports is under executive legislation, and it is the FG that is the custodian of the resources of the people. They developed only one seaport and left the rest, and you here talking as if it is the fault of the people for the failure of their government

Waoooooo

Toro lga is bigger than lagos? Is it lagos state as a whole or just lagos island? Because lagos as a whole from ikorodu to badagry is quite big for a local government though I understand the north has a big land mass.
Niger state is bigger than the whole south east and that is very crazy even though south east has far more population
Are you talking about Niger state? Kogi state alone is bigger than 5 states of south east put together.

Does that mean that they haven't be able to capitalised on her proximity to lagos state to boast the economy of the state?

They are.

The relationship between lagos and Ogun state is fair.
Reasons are there are a lot of factories in Ogun state, borders close to Ogun state esp ABEOKUTA are like 2 or 3. Some produce like food, fruits etc are from here. People prefer Lagos to Ogun state because of fun, varieties of goods, job opportunities and many more. Lagos is overpopulated. Ogun state(ABEOKUTA) is now a small Lagos. Cost of living is now high.

Na wa oooooooooooo

At bolded ....... that means these countries are really really small.
The north is really trying in terms of agriculture.

There is a market i go in the north, they always bring grains like maize, soya beans etc to the market in trailers all year round. All year round and i do wonder who and where do they farm this massive crops? despite all these crops being done manually and not tractor.

It is not the size of the dog in a fight that matters, but the size of the fight in a dog. Nigeria is a super power by its very configuration, if we get things right.

Northerners are trying, I like them a lot. They are the poorest yet the most humble. If you hear anything like internet crimes, drug dealers, scammers etc, northerners never comes to mind.

Terrorism nko ? Boko Haram, bandits, Iswap, fulani Herdsmen ?

Nigeria is a failed Nation and the poverty capital of the world is because of the north.

Who tell you Northerners are humble ? They have entitlement mentality. And this the reason why Nigeria is like this.

They believe Nigeria is their property. And they can do anything they like and get away with it, which is pride and arrogance.

Humble has to do with justice, equality and fairness. Those qualities are not in their dictionary.

Does Buhari, Atiku or Kwakwnaso look humble to you ?

Well, poverty comes with humbleness.

Being poor is annoying enough, adding arrogance to it will put the final mail on the coffin.
Hopefully, Nigeria will get it right.
Compliment bro
