Whoever told you that Nzeogwu was adopted by Sir Ahmadu Bello was high on drugs.

So they are Eulogizing someone who killed the paramount traditional ruler of another tribe without any valid reason? A problem of the Saudana account revealed he had only £60 in his bank account at the time of his death. Is that how to lead a revolution?

As you know, those that live by the sword, die by the sword.

The reason he was killed was well known by Nigerians unless you decided not to know.

The earlier the masses understand the Divide-and-rule system being used to weaken the supposed be one voice, the, they will cease to be manipulated by the common enemies, the politicians. Every four years, they hire an individual to defend them and sell them to the people. Imagine APC that has left every Nigerian trying to japa is promising to be the hope of Nigerians. And people are coming out to campaign for them. Let the Presidential candidate and his Vice organise a town hall meeting with the youths as Mr Peter Obi has been doing. Let the people ask them the fundamental questions. Imagine with the evidence of Shettima hands in Boko Haram, terrorism, they are pushing him to become the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. GOD FORBID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pray hard ooo, the people are so diabolic, they have entered spiritual battle and I saw Peter Obi defeated hands down, they don't mean well for Nigeria o

Don't misquote me sir, I mmnot a Tinubu supporter.
But I know the history you are twisting.
Firstly, if not for national reconciliation, Nzeogwu shouldn't be celebrated. In fact, he should v been killed ingloriously before he orchestrated his death in the Biafra war.
2ndly, Ladoke Akintola that he killed was a respected citizen. The Igbos had grouses with the northerners prior to the Biafran war. It's wasn't Yorubas that were killing Igbos in the north. So why the transfer of aggression on Yoruba leaders at that time? They wanted Balewa and Ahmadu Bello. The officers that killed Akintola could v shot him in the leg or arm if he was too stubborn for them.
3rdly, he said they were cleaning the govt and spared Nnamdi Azikiwe. That's padipadi arrangement of brothers from same tribe. He was freed by Aguiyi Ironsi, that's a traitor move and at the end, he joined forces with Biafra. The whole activities later led toman avoidable war that eventually made the Igbos pay bitterly for.
I m not here to justify that Igbos deserve whatever they get but we must show that while we are still together in Nigeria, our agitations, arguments should be logical.
I m sure some ll still misquote me and get e-knock on their head!

Imagine. Some people like to feel marginalized despite being the cause. You start enmity, it fights backs, they start crying witch-hunt!

The only mistake those first coupists did was sparing Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, they ought to have eliminated him like they did to then horrible leaders like Ahmadu Bello, Akintola.

Tafawa Belewa was a good man that was misled by two Muslim Jihadists Ahmadu Bello and Akintola leading to their ostracizing and jailing Christian leader Awolowo which made the young Southern Military guys led by Igbo soldiers to strike.

The same Muslim Jihadist agenda that Ahmadu Bello and Akintola were pushing for that made these guys to fight back is what Buhari and his Fulani brothers are still pursuing today, killing Northern Christians in the name of cattle herding.

Thank God the ignorant Middle Belt Christians they used against Biafrans in the 1960s are gradually waking up and realizing who their real enemies are.

What was the justification for the military coup? The coupists were unable to prove the corruption they alleged.

What caused the war was Gowon's refusal to honour the Aburi agreement he signed

Nzeogwu's dad never worked for the then Sardauna as a gardener or in any other capacity. He was a minor civil servant based in the Northern region.

Neither was he educated by the Sardauna at all.

You guys should read Obasanjo's biography of the man or the bio written by Peter Nzeogwu, Chukuma's younger brother.

Whats the justification for the 7 other military coups that were conducted in Nigeria, including the one that was done by your current President? Its the same old story, they all claim they were coming to save Nigeria

So what is the truth?

First of all it wasn't an Igbo coup as there were more Yorubas actively involved in it.

Did you ever asked why a traditional ruler was the first target in that coup?

That is to prove to you that the problem in Nigeria at time had it's starting point from his palace

So Nzeogwu is not from Anambra state or SE?
I learned that he was brought up in Kaduna.

I guess their sin here is that they are the first to execute coup because, there were records of other coups that happened thereafter, even after the civil war.
Why are other perpetrators not been vilified too, some have been rewarded with presidential seat?
This one can’t read

S/E and lies are 5&6 but it's too late to change history..

Was Ahmadu Bello not based in the north? Cooks, gardeners, security men, maids, etc working in Ahmadu Bello's official residence were all employed as minor civil servants.

Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu was not the only one Ahmadu Bello brought up. There were scores of others who later became professors, doctors, generals, lawyers, etc

Ahmadu Bello adopted him and gave him the name Kaduna so that he could fit into the north properly. Ahmadu Bello Educated Chukwuma Kaduna Nzogbu and used his influence to enlist him into the Army as Chukwuma couldn't make the list on merit.

Ask yourself how Chukwuma Nzeogwu came about the name Kaduna

What caused the war was Gowon's refusal to honour the Aburi agreement he signed
The Aburi accord was not enforceable. It would only have delayed the war by a few months, a year at most, and by then the igbos would have been more prepared and difficult to defeat.

Gowon hurriedly signed the accord in order to avoid war without understanding the implications, until it was pointed out by Akenzua (the future Oba of Benin).

And if Nigeria had not been created, the coup would never have happened. We can all go back and say if that had not happened, this woukd not have happened

However, the proximate cause of the war was the refusal of Gowon to implement what he signed in Aburi
