When the president wanted to end the use of old #1000, #500 and #200 by January 31, he made it look as if he is trying to checkmate corrupt politicians from having naira note in their private vault, and so many sadist commended him thinking that it is the political class that will suffer.

Just three days down the line, the reality is setting in and people could not buy or sell because of paucity of new notes and the politician that was taught to be the ones to bear the brunt do not join the ATM queue to withdraw the new note.

In my area, I have not heard of any big politician complain, it's just a call from bank managers and bags of new notes are taken to their houses, so will want to ask, in your area who is bearing the brunt: the politician or the masses?

HARDMIRROR COME AND READ Ooo. WHEN YOU WERE STATING THE OBVIOUS THEY THOUGHT YOU WERE TALKING NONSENSE o

Last last it will still affect the politician, yes they may have cash to spend, but they won't have enough to manipulate the election , no be who first suffer, but who suffer last.

Why do you guys like twisting and turning.

He has made it clear that Tinubu wailed because he knew the new policy and its attendant hardship would make people revolt against the government, APC as a party and his chances at the polls.

What else do you want?

He was not wailing, he heard the wailing of the masses and raised alarm but many of you erroneously thought the policy will affect him. He raised alarm about the negative effect the policy is having on the masses but seems the president's Ear infection is yet to heal. The presidency need to procure a sign language interpreter to interpret the situation to him properly.
this government has been needing a back-to-back useless policies and tinubu has been hailing them while their useless urchins come to nairaland to tell us why the policies are the best thing after sliced bread. The only reason why tinubu is wailing currently is because these latest policies will reduce his chances in the election.
I'm sure you know this

It was said before that this stunt wont affect corruption or vote buying, its just a way to punish the massess and even enhance vote buying, cos when you cant access your money you re impoverished and will accept whatever is given to you.

People will sell their PVCs for N100 , and those who wont sell cant even move to where they d like to vote.

The idiots who were bragging that this will end all forms of corruption in Nigeria are silent like statues.

Recall that these people have been defending this government all these years. All what they are doing is fighting back using the masses as cannon.

The answer is obvious. But I think we need a revolution to end this nonsense. It will succeed if it begins from the north. They will hardly shoot at protesters in the North. This is absolutely nonesense. This is not democracy.

Problem with us in this country is that we hate change, even the ones that will have positive effect on us.

Secondly, we are too much in a hurry to see the effect of the change, even when the effect is not supposed to be spontaneous. When we don't see the benefits instantly, we start condemning the change. I've never supported most things done by this administration. For this one, I support them. It may not be palatable for us now, but the end will be lovely.

Most educated ones, dropped what their education taught them and started following beer palour talks.

Finally, we hate making sacrifice for changes.

This new Naira issues is for the betterment of the country. If you don't understand it, ask questions. We should understand that sacrifices have to me made by most of us, especially, the poor and the middle class. The looters and the rich may look a bit ok now, but at long run, they will start counting their loses.

Pls enlighten me on the benefits because I know the people that store naira notes at home has swaped all and just a phone call the banks managers will bring new notes to their hone in bags,it only that buhari has little ability to comprehend, the rich don't even store naira at home, the store pound, dollars and euro which keeps appreciating from time to time.
