These APC people are so scared of Igbos. You are having a high BP to prove to your visitors that you own your house, something is definitely wrong with you whether you accept it or not. The supposed guest is sleeping soundly while you keep vigil and rant all through the night. Oga Landlord, do I have to tell you that you have lost relevance in your supposed house. Your guest never said he own the house yet you can't sleep

The constitution says anyone can vote in any state he resides, be ready to cry more because you can't change it.

You still don't get it , igbo have been voting in lagos since 1999 with no one stopping them, they voted whoever they wanted to vote, buh 2023 is different, igbos are now trying to impose their choice candidate, someone the Yoruba's don't consider as their true son . its not about landlord shit, its about preventing lagos from falling into the hands of IPOB!

That Lagos law that gave that little privilege to those Igbo to have space in our Lagos politics must be review with immediate effect...those people are really mad.
We served them well, congratulation to most of us that made sure they did not have their(Igbos) ways in both presidential and state elections in our state

Bro, believe everything you see here line hook and sinker to your peril. It is possible the person who made that despicable statement is not Igbo neither the people liking it. You need to under war strategies. During Biafra war, some Niger Delta people were killed maybe by Nigerian soldiers under the guise it was done by Igbos. The same strategy would have been deployed in the so called abandoned properties. The same oppressor would have told them go and lay hold of their properties to make sure the hate is from both ends. Trust me, that formed the chasm till date. We need to open our eyes and scrutinize things well. In 1950s a white came to an Igbo village in Ebonyi studied their culture and wrote a book. He called that village a town in Cross River. The town shares water boundaries and culture with Cross River but as part of divide and rule, Cross River people must detest Igbos. Same with Akwa Ibom and Rivers. Common guys, I was thinking strategically about the world and found out why China came to Africa. It mirrors where they were years ago and is the next big thing but they decided to leverage us with debt to keep us enslaved. We need to open our eyes and think well. Listen to everyone but think for yourself guys.

We need each other.

This should be the last time igbos will put their mouth in an affair like Lagos gubernatorial election..

They can aspire for senate and house of rep but when it comes to lagos governorship , they should mind their business..

If any Yoruba candidate comes to Igbos for endorsement, let them tell him to go and get his tribe endorsement.. Igbos should only align with whoever the majority of the tribe agree with...

Igbo should mind their business in Lagos... Hausa don't meddle into yoruba issue like igbos do...

I repeat:

House of Rep - Igbos are allowed
Senate - Allowed
Governor - Banned till Jesus comes and even if Jesus comes, igbos are not allowed.

It's a serious effrontery!!!

Your statement is contradictory, 'no man's land' means exactly that, no one person or group hold sway over that place. It is for everyone..

Just say you are a tribalist and be done with it.

You have always been scared of them. In 2015 Oba of Lagos said it's Ambode or Igbos will die in Lagoon because Igbos supported Jimi Agbaje. In 2019 same APC said same Ambode is now Igbos candidate and you believed, don't you think you are sick of inferiority complex? Igbos fear will ruin many of you

You should know that these people are hypocrites. It runs in their veins. Everything is centralized in Lagos, intentionally by the Nigerian government. Decentralize the country. Why can I not board a Lufthansa aircraft from an airport in south east? Why do I have to travel to Lagos or Abuja for visa interviews? South Easterns are importers, why not give them a seaport at least. Now Lekki seaport has been approved and other seaports are made dormant by this same government. A lot of things need to be addressed if this country must move forward. Now, it's only a ticking bomb waiting...

The thing is, Igbos are living in Lagos, doing their business and paying tax.

If they don't want Igbos in Lagos, there are two solutions.

1. Move for the establishment of sea ports, airports and embassies in the east, not blocking it when Igbos make a move for development.

2. Join in asking for a referendum so that people will know they are in different countries. Then they can have the power of immigration.

Anything other than these, they are just deceiving themselves. You can't expect an Igbo person trying to survive anywhere he can to stomach bad governance. Abi don't yorubas vote in the east?

That's basic truth did you see any other tribes interfere in any South East politics this is not presidential election that concern all nigerians it's state politics that concern yorubas people

Oga yorubas too vote in the east. If the state government is bad, it is bad for everybody in the state. Maybe unless, if agbero see Igbo driver on the road and not collect owoda but only collect from yoruba driver, then you can say what you are saying and it will be accepted.
Re: Let 2023 Be The Last Time Igbos Will Interfere In Lagos Politics - Onanuga by iykechas2002: 10:01am On Mar 19, 2023
Very true... Igbo should go back home and leave Lagos for lagosians. Shame to the igbos.

Come to think of it, has any Yoruba man or Hausa man built houses or invested heavily in Igbo land? The answer is NO!!!.
It's only the igbos that would go to another man's land and develop the place, yet still treated as outcast. If the Igbo had not develop Lagos, the town will be so poor. Take a clue of when the Igbos travel for any festive period and see how Lagos will be so deserted. Igbo are the business hub of Lagos and they pay more of the IGR in Lagos state. The interiors of Lagos has been developed because of the igbos. The Igbo settles any where and brings development in that area. Yet the Yorubas would claim it

Why are the Hausas not being chased out of Lagos? Why are the Yoruba not calling out the Hausas in this election? The Hausa man has nothing to loose in Lagos if you ask them to leave. They can fight the Yorubas in their land because they have no investment in Lagos that would be destroyed compared to the Igbo man.

It is high time the igbos started thinking of developing their states. And they should bear in mind that "they can not sing the Lord's song in a strange land". This is a wake up call to all Igbos leaving in a strange land.

Expect new laws from the Lagos house of Assembly very soon. You guys will forever regret that no man's land statement.

You people and peddling lies...who is blocking you from having ports?

For your infoo, there is no kobo of federal govt in the new lekki port and the upcoming badagry port...It is strictly lagos state govt and private investors. The new Epe international airport also has no kobo of FGN money...Go and verify

If you keep elevating and voting clueless governors whowill rather save cash than build ports while investing state funds in private breweries, then dont blame others who are voting competence and reapin the results, and dont blame them for resisting your attempt to take them back to stone age

As for embassies, they will go to where they feel safe. Tell your violent gangs to stop the aggression and watch things happen

How many Yorubas are actively involved in local politics in any Igbo state? What is even the percentage of Yorubas living in South East as a whole? Is it not the same way Igbos cannot be allowed in government in the remaining 5 Yoruba States.

Is it so hard to understand that Lagos is mega city and has so many tribes? It cannot operate like most other states that are local.

In the UK for example, the Mayor of London is native Asian because of the large proportion of non-British people in London. In many other counties especially outside major cities, a foreigner cannot dare to contest for mayor.
