He is right and yet wrong...!

A perfect and honest dictatorship will do better for Nigerians than this corrupt semi-dictatorship we term a Democracy!

While I agree with him about those seeking redress in the last national elections going through the democratic court channels, how confident are they or are they supposed to be of the same courts under this compromised and corrupt system?!!

This is the crux of the dissention!

If the electoral body and the Judiciary cannot for once show total independence and incorruption towards their duties, how can nerves be calmed?!!

When you have a CJN already tainted and suspected of ethnic inclinations, how is the system supposed to be trusted?!!

These are parts of the problems before us now!

Gaddafi was a military dictator, he retired and continued ruling still as a dictator (a perfect one). The US have killed him and installed democracy, shey Lybia is better-off today?

The constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria is supreme. It is above any person, advice or thoughts.

I believe there is a temporary point we can get to as a nation. Then we do the needful to ensure the right leadership according to constitution takes over.

Nonsense. In democracy police collude with corrupt people to secretly sieze/auction off power unlike military rule when soldiers sieze it openly.

There are countries who have witnesses civil and military rule with good progress and development. However, that is not a reason for Nigeria to allowed flawed and bastardized democracy because of the fear of military regime.

At least during IBB and Abacha time.
I can safely travel from at night without the fail of anything.
The security system was good then.

Gadaffi was a military ruler and Libya was the best in Africa then.
Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria leaders then were military rulers and those countries were good

Omokri pls just leave those obi goats by the time the Tsunami they are calling for will fall on them the world will weep for them.

They think they are doing Tinubu not known they are doing themselves. I had told them yesterday if civilian interim govt comes Fulani will rule forever and will still favour SW.

If buhari stage a millitary Palace coup it will still be a Fulani who will head it and will still favour SW and SS immensely.

Una go learn in hard way.

Lol, armed robbery was a thing under millitary rule.

As for Libya, when an oil producing country is producing 6 million barrels of crude per day and has a population of 5 million what do you expect? Plus Ghaddafi was an evil dictator. No freedoms like the oneswe have now

Amotolongbo:
These Gen Z pikins who were born and started knowing their left from right when Obasanjo started wearing “Agbada” to rule Nigeria won’t understand what a military dictatorship is.

A simple analogy for them to understand, can they just imagine rtd General Muhammad Buhari ruling Nigeria with no opposition at all and having the absolute power to ban social media, kill anyone without trial, install sole administrators in each state and be whipped by security men on the road for not obeying rules and order.

People who witnessed Buhari’s military regime can testify to this.

Buhari's military regime was tame, the only people he arrested or detained were former politicians who stole money, he was criticised because there was no presumption of innocence...it was for the detained politicians to prove their innocence. Buhari did not kill anybody. Ask those who were around during Abacha's regime. A regime where Abacha shot his minister in the eye (Alex Ibru) and killed another minister’s son (Onagoruwa) because he was angry with the father who by the way was his former Attorney general. Abacha killed people anyhow like they were mosquitoes.
