You're quite correct. The news of his wife demanding half his property has only be seen in what I'd classify as gossip blogs... which generally thrives in writing anything and using click bait to drive traffic and revenue.

I mean, at some point, they said Ronaldinho was dead.

I think the gist is gaining traction because the reality in the West is that spouses actually divorce and ask for half their partners' assets regularly.
