Get a very good earphone that has a superb & independent Noise Cancellation mode to control the situation, while trusting God for complete healing and total restoration. Redmi Bud 3 Pro is highly recommended.

Bro I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Pls don't give up.
What I can say about your situation is that is it a mental problem.

First thing first. If you not getting the right amount of sleep it will fvck a human brain up. Sleep is as important as food.
I can tell that you hear strange voices. I like to ask that apart from the insomnia situation do you feel restless too? Do you like to move around always even at off hours? Let me know
No. I don't like moving around cuz i hate noise. And feeling restless is an understatement

Tinnitus is no joke. If you haven't experienced or experiencing it, you won't understand the situation and you are likely to even joke about it.

Yes.

Not even one, i visit like 4 of them since the problem started

although it is possible, my advise is that you learn sign language and try a form of menthol massage around your neck region with aboniki take sleeping pill and sleep under the breeze from a standing fan

your kind of tinnitus is really severe, I'm deaf too, and have been enduring my tinnitus for 11 years so far

malaria and typhoid fever are major cause of deafness in Nigeria

No. I don't even know the meaning of that

I wouldn't trust those ENT specialists if none of them recommended a MRI. MRI stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, it's used to image the body in more detail than xray or CT scans. A competent ENT should have referred you for that so they can know if your predicament is caused by something in the brain or nerves to the ears and see what can be further recommended by way of treatment.

Op I have tinnitus and I use ear plugs when I’m outside or in loud places, it helps if you are also sensitive to loud noises, check online stores like Jumia or Konga for ear plugs

You have completely down my spirit with this post. What you are suggesting is beyond me, i can't boast of 5k in my account presently but would have raise something like 50k or slightly above for any surgery that can make my head silent.
The noise in my head is so loud now that i'm beginning to lose my sanity. It shall not be well with those guys that torture me

How much did the doc say the foreign surgery will cost?

I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this. I also have Tinnitus and at one point I thought my life was over. The ENTs told me I had to live with it but I refused to accept that verdict.

The body has a way of healing itself. What I did was to do an extensive research on herbs. I also rubbed balm around my ears to relieve the pus that had built around what I believe is an injury to my ears caused by ototoxicity. I made a remarkable recovery and only relapse on exposure to loud noise. I can't tell you the specific things to use but you should do a lot of research on natural herbs such as mints, cinnamon. I suggest you discontinue all medications at this point. Let your body heal itself. Stay away from loud noise. I say a sincere prayer for you that the good lord will get you through this in Jesus name. Stay positive and always say it out loud to yourself, " I will get through this". Let me know if you need further information from me.

kpakpakpa:
Humble greetings fam!

I will like to know if its possible to remove my auditory nerve or anything that can make me to stop hearing completely. I suffered a strange kind of hearing loss that comes with another condition called tinnitus

It happened since 2015 when i was admitted in a teaching hospital(doctors told me that my problem was typhoid) and treated for months. When i was about to discharged, i noticed that one of my ears was not functional which i complained immediately to the docs there told me that my condition was critical and was consequently administered hard drugs which is clearly the cause of my partial deafness and was given an appointment in 2weeks time to follow up about the new ailment. I came back home using only one ear.

After about 5days at home, i enter okada to the use an atm in town, upon reaching the bank, i joined the atm line to made my withdrawal, it was there that an old friend started talking to me that i discovered that both my ears were not functional.

@Kpakpakpa and others, help is on the way, ensure to carefully read my entire writeup.

Please and please don't remove that Auditory nerves o. shocked shocked Regardless of the age of your tinnitus, you can still relieve the symptoms from 10-100%. Yes, all and you'll have a blissful night sleep. Mercy Johnson also made a great mistake by removing her Thyroid gland. Anything and everything on this planet can be CURED, except death. Yes! I will always stand by that!

Don't let the some of the failings of modern medicine condemn you to a life of unwanted noise.

If your tinnitus is subjective (i.e caused by noise, ear infection, drugs, or other unknown cause etc) congrats you're on your way to a swift healing.

But if it's objective that is, the Doctor or anyone else can ear it, then you may want to check for heart conditions and other issues.

Let me repeat, TINNITUS, can be CURED 100%, I'm a living testimony and others who've tried the method below.

First off, you should up your Zinc intake from both naturals and pills. For naturals, eat beef liver (one of the best superfood on the planet!), Fishes, beans, milk, egg etc. For supplements, go to a big pharmacy and ask for Zinc (50-100mg). Then take it everyday.

You know why you should take Zinc?
The ear is one of the organs with the largest concentration of Zinc in the body. Depletion of Zinc causes tinnitus, and increasing it's intake helps relieve tinnitus resulting from other means including Zinc depletion.

Also, excess Zinc would be safely disposed off by the body. This should be combined with the second method.

The second method will blow your mind off, and it's the most effective!
The answer is good, old Onion or it's cousin garlic. These two are the most potent remedy we know to fight Tinnitus and ear infections to the core.

Yes, #100 worth of onion or garlic maybe all it takes to free you from this condition forever. Don't let anyone consign you to a life of misery because they believe it's incurable.

Don't be scared. You can use this in three ways, however, before use, ask someone to check your ear drums with a flashlight, if it's not perforated, then continue; if perforated, allow it to heal for 2-3 weeks.

Method 1
1. Remove the old back, cut the onion, grate it, and squeeze the juice. Then with a teaspoon, bend and expose the affected ear upwards and put two drops in it, and cover it with cotton wool to retain the juice inside. It might feel cold, but your body will adjust to it. Change every 6-8 hours. Though it's best done in the night.

Method 2
2. Cut the onion in ring shapes, take one ring and insert into the ear, with the other part of the ring sticking out, then go to sleep.

Method 3
3. Put the onion in a hot, dry pot, and roast for 2 mins. Thereafter, you remove from the fire. Onion gets heated easily, so you may want to use a very clean cloth. Cut in half, and wrap with a clean cloth. Then take it close to the affected ear and let the steam penetrate the ear.

Use any of the methods consistently, and your Tinnitus will go away in no time.

If you prefer garlic, I'll give you it's formula too.

For everyone suffering from Tinnitus, start the aforementioned process ASAP, and get total relief from Tinnitus. Tried and tested by me and others.

ALSO: If your work does not demand for earpiece, please do away with it during this period, and 2 more weeks after the treatment. It'll be worth it at the end.

Thanks for this great information. God bless you.

Please, can these your recommendations work for measles induced hearing loss?

Hearing aid is worst, i wore it once and the sound lasted for weeks in my ears. One specialist told me about a type of hearing aid that can produce a certain sound to mask the one in my ears but he mentioned more than a million naira. Is true like i said earlier that this happened in 2015 and honestly, i did not leave it to fate, i tried every way i'm capable and even borrowed some huge amount to treat this but its looking like there will be no solution.

My only option is to stop hearing completely if there is a way because i don't have the financial chest to pursue this problem anylonger.

Tinnitus:

Treatment: Pharmacological
1) Zinc

2) Vitamin B12

3) Ear drops

Non Pharmacological:
1) Balanced diet
2) Sleep in Fowler position with raised pillows
3) Clean ear wax( don't over clean)
4) Avoid place with too much noise
5) Avoid stress and anxiety
6) Have adequate sleep
7) Drink warm water often
cool Use warm compresses to massage both ears and their sides...Add painkiller eg Ibuprofen or Diclofenac due to pain from the beating

This same stuff happened to my maternal grandma, she was sick and was taken to the hospital and placed on drugs and came back with your same condition... Since then for almost 10years now, the Old woman has resigned to her fate.

Anytime I visit her, it's always a problem hearing what I say, she can only respond when reading your lips or writing your speech on paper for her (She's really educated and does not even use eyeglass at age 80)

Well.... She has learned to live with that condition for the rest of her life.

Bro what I will advice you is to get hearing aids, at least your situation is not really worst at the moment and also get a ear plug when going out to noisy place.

Get herbal medications and also search on YouTube for some therapy to help you.

I wish you a speedy recovery!!!

Can one remove auditory nerve or something to stop hearing completely?

Is only a consultant in a federal government specialist hospital that can say if such operation can be done safely

May God give you the grace to pass through this and become fine

Now i happened to be in an unpleasant situation last twoweeks and some bad guys beat me up, i don't know the kind of evil spirit that entered them but they focused on slapping me on both ears. For some days now, i'm hearing heavy sounds in my ears like a trucks motor horn, gunshots, car break that is about to have accident etc

Even alcohol can not make me sleep for 5hrs now before i will wake up.

That is why i'm looking for a way to stop hearing completely, i'm going mad right now and i don't know what to do.

The drugs i was supposed to be taken is not of my reach because it is very cost and you can't get it near me unless i send for it in abj or jos, better still lagos.

I want to stop hearing completely.
I don't know if you'd get this but take this from someone who developed mild tinnitus 8 years ago and read almost every medical journal on tinnitus, removing your auditory nerves won't fix it. Someone did it cos his tinnitus made him develop insomnia. He removed his auditory nerve but the tinnitus didn't go away. It was all in the brain.
I've been living with tinnitus since 2016 and it's gotten better over the years. Now it's barely there.
If you have the funds, visit a good hospital for MRI scans or just travel out and treat yourself.
Sorry

Bose cancelation headsets are not too expensive though. It might be able to save you off this current trauma while you work out the next permanent solution.
Noise cancelling headphones make tinnitus worse. That's when you notice that the high pitched noise you hear is from the brain. Like the headphones will cancel outside noise and leave you with torture.

I think u should try to continue managing ur condition, by getting used to d situation n finding ways to help protecting ur ear from loud sounds, n stop the medications, since no improvement. Things like this the body tends to recover on its own over time, ur hearing might not be like before, but it il improve, get something to cover ur ears .
True.
When I developed mine, it wasn't funny at all.
Sometimes I'd hear my heartbeat through my ears. When I bend down, sounds in my ears would behave like something just went down a suction tube and my ears will just block till I raise my head. It was scary.
I remember one time a girl I was toasting invited me to her church, couldn't stay till end of service. My ears were sensitive af.
But as time went by, my brain adapted to it. 8 years later, it's barely audible. I only notice it when I focus on it.
My hearing even got better.
The human body is wonderful.

So sorry to hear about your condition. I also do suffer from tinitus in my left ear. Mine occured as a result of exposure to loud music.

I could remember when it was very severe, simple sound right just be amplified in my ear and I could barely hear with my left ear. I used to cry back then.

Mine is much better now. Though still there, but I try not to get exposed to loud sounds. I can barely hear with my left ear.

And the worst part is tinitus has no cure. It's so bad because it's affecting both your ears. Just praying you find a solution.
If it started in one ear, it'll get to the other eventually.
Mine started in my right ear and moved to the left.
If you do a survey today, like more than 50% of young people have tinnitus. Most don't even know it. Some see it as ambient noise.
One of my guys got his through excessive use of earbuds and I got to know during a fireworks show last Christmas by the way he held his ears lol.
I just love how android now has ear protection feature when it detects a bud is past 50% volume. People are slowly killing their ears.

To the best of my knowledge, there has never been an improvement since this problem started, its rather getting worse.

I would have long go for the surgery if not for cost involved. The specialist told me that it is done outside the country only. The side effects were much according to him but if you take away this noise in my ears and allow me live for just one year, i will be ok. I can't kill myself, never, but death is nothing compared to what is happening to me
There is a National Ear Care Center in Kaduna. They render cochlear implant services. I hear specialists from abroad do come for such operations. A good hospital in India would've been awesome.
