As much as I no support him, I feel his doing this to get the sympathy of the people.

He got the highest votes of all candidates. Your sympathy is inconsequential.

Something is beginning to tell me Tinubu will deliver.

I just hope he won't disappoint like others.

Very good. This is what we are asking for, make enabling laws and policies that will enable private sectors to participate in the delivery of critical essential infrastructure and services to the public. The responsibility is on the organization to ensure that the delivery of uninterrupted electricity and also ensure that their power infrastructure is tamper proof to discourage power theft.

Although the last assembly failed at checking the excesses of the executive arm, I must commend them for the number of bills they successively passed, including Electoral Act, PIB, this right here, etc.

For power, I want to see big companies invest in solar from generation through transmission to distribution. We have to break the 5KMegawatts of electricity jinx!

We have massive land, massive sun, all we need need is massive power walls and all states will light up. By now, companies should have started acting

State can Generate and distribute

Private can Generate and sell

Nigeria doesn't need new laws

Aso Rock Archives and library has more than enough pending law, policy white paper to fix the country

Another very important law is the liberalization of the rail sector so individuals can construct rails lines and have their own trains
Which part of the world do individuals own rail lines? Or you mean train bus/coach?

So you actually think that the job of a National Assembly ends at passing bills.

That's the same as saying the job of a footballer is to kick the ball.

Let me stop here for personal reasons

Wow. This is a big step in the right direction. Many bottlenecks removed in power generation. Tinubu don turn star boy oh, just ticking all the right boxes per day.
No wonder e dey shout Emilokan.

You get it joor. He has been looking for away to burst forth to discharge what he has.
He once was shouting regional integration because he knows Nigeria as an entity is not easily broken into pieces.
He was desperate to make things work.
By the time he will leave the seat, Igbo presidency will be easy.

He is Yoruba, quietly he will destroy the existing system politically and bring in prosperity. I think he the man we need for now.

Long live Jagaban
Long live Nigeria

The impact will surely be seen as private investors start entering the sector, efficiency will be felt in the system, the energy mix.

If the Act does not compulsorily require the companies to issue pre-paid meters for free to all consumers under their reach, it's rubbish.

You are myopic and an antagonist of this government. This move will lead to more power generation and competition, which will reduce prices down the line. Lazy people, can't think, want everything delivered to you for free?
