Do not use your thumb, because it has its own pulse that you may feel.
Count the beats for 30 seconds, and then double the result to get the number of beats per minute.

Checked twice last month when I felt some changes about my body system.

The first result showed 129/88, was told it's okay by the health practitioner until mom who came visiting said it isn't normal.

Had to recheck a week after and it was 121/77.

Aside overthinking Not sleeping for like 6-8hours in 24 hours could lead to hbp.

A month ago. It's increasing but still within normal range

Yesterday. My BP was 128/70(Can't exactly remember the lower value but the upper was 128. I was told it's very Ok.

A friend went to the hospital for checkup and the doctor told him his BP is really on the high that he could suffer a stroke if its gets higher. He was admitted and on medications now.

True talk. But have you wondered how many of them died of mysterious illnesses that were wrongly attributed to witchcraft? Sickle cell children were tagged Abiku/Ogbanje. People died after "brief illness". It's good to know "your numbers" as you can immediately become aware of any changes to your health from changes/variations in those numbers

Yes, it's almost knocking engine... Most people wouldn't know... Carelessly, I checked and that's what I saw. No symptoms, nothing nothing... But I am taking treatment and I am now conscious of it. I pity people who don't know anything about blood pressure. Most people are on that level and they don't know

Yet most of us who would especially benefit from this habit do not monitor our numbers at home.

I don't know what really happened with me oo, for the past four months, anytime if I check my BP it will shows 140/90, and I tried all my possible best for it to reduce but all in vain.

With all due respect sir, eating well and sleeping well.does not prevent your from high BP.

What is your definition of eating well?
How old are you and what are the things you eat that means eating well to you?

Eskis sir, the funny thing about HBP is that most people that have it feel okay and feel nothing.

Someone educated to your own level should be more enlightened than this.

Take time to check once it a while. If not for your own sake but for that of your loved ones.
