@Safe my big sister, thanks for asking after us. We're fine. We're counting weeks and days. Not easy to carry twins if not God strenght. Pain s all over, swollen legs and sleepless night.

Biko help me understand this one.It sounds absurd but true.You won't believe I called the doctor who prescribed my medications and gave me my protocol to complain about my menstrual situation only for him to tell me he is retired I should call the Secretary to make an appt with his colleague.imagine,this doc prescribed my medications and gave me the forms for laboratory test follow up from beginning to end of cycle knowing that I will begin stimulating I'm January and he will retire on Jan 1 2015.y didn't h move me to his colleague,I tire for this oyibo people at times.hope to get a good gyno at that clinic.

I was complaining to my pharmacist and she gave me this advice. I will also give it to u. Believe that EVERYTHING is working in your favour. Speak to every situation , especially the ones that seem they are hindrances. Believe that God is letting lines fall in pleasant places for you.
It is better for your period to delay and you get your bfp. Whatever that is happening now is for it to end in praise. Calm down. Na u go still come here testify.In Jesus name. Amen

I am so pleased I came across this thread on nairaland and though I have been a silent follower i think it's time i came out and make my presence felt. A brief background, I have been trying for Three years, mild pCos and possibly blocked tubes as I had a PID in the past. I and my hubby have decided to go for IVF this year and I know it will be a success by Gods grace.
We plan to do it in September in the UK. I will like to know what preparations I should undertake prior to the procedure eg meds, questions to ask my RE, I also plan to lose some weight and get my BMI down.
I look forward to going through this process with everyone.

Hello, I wish you all the best. You said you possibly have blocked tubes. Have you done an hsg?
It is good to know the state of your tubes because things like hydrosalpinx can affect the success of the procedure.

@henmaris see the good thing in your delayed AF. What if it had come early and ur doc resigns mid treatment or there is a disruption along the way? Now u get to sort out all the knicks before treatment starts

Ma sister na to laugh oh.I've not tested and don't intend to until my appointment with the doc on February 4th which is the closest possible appt.I claim pregnancy before then in Jesus name.See as program take change from January ivf to February.

Womb scratch? Infertility can be costly,c price.Y decide to do it my dear or have u seen many people testify a success after the procedure? Personally I'm scared of things that has to do with my womb if u can do your ivf without it its better but that's just me,if you feel comfortable do it.
Hope someone can help with a cheaper and reliable clinic to do that.

Where do I start from? God has been using them. He used them in my case. Ivf is 550k excluding drugs. They might ask to budget 350k for drugs. Depending on age and response to drugs

Me I'm thinking eh, for the clinics that do this payment different, medication different. See if you can negotiate with the hospital. For the protocol I'm doing I.e antagonist which is high dosage of menopur (I'm 33 years) all my medications minus the progesterone after the embryo transfer is 140k. Now even if I buy gestone/cyclogest till the end of ist trimester, there's no how the cost will reach 350k. I bought the medications myself so I know what I'm talking bout.

Big ups to itissettled3 for kindly borrowing me her copy of Waiting room 3. Spent all day reading it today and I have been blest by the testimoniesa of those blest thru ART.
