Omo same experience u had is what i faced too o . From 400h straight to 700h. Just imagine paying such amount for hair wey no go last 1 or 2 week. Now no unnecessary styles, either its low cut or last skin i go dey barb na or make i dey barb myself cos i get clipper. Let us breath abeg

It was actually the 'bearbear' that made me to start shaving myself. In my 3rd year in Uniben, I was trying to jealously grow my small goatee bear bear, but the yeye thing was scanty and growing zigzag. Barbers were a killjoy to me because they would laugh at me and asked me to shave off everything. I hadto buy my on clippers for my precious 'bearbear'

It depends on the salon one goes to. I have used 3 different ones in the last one year and the price ranges from 17 to 55 bucks however, the average I pay is 40 bucks (tips inclusive).

I keep hair and that requires regular maintenance. My barber use to collect #300 per cut (Low key salon for ordinary Nigerians). After the subsidy removal I went to shave and behold I was charged #400 while full cut was #500.

I just returned from the salon where I went with the mindset of paying #500 for a full cut. While I was still cutting, something was telling me to check the pricelist just above the mirror, because in this country nothing is stable. Boom!!! 🔥 Omo! na #700 I see. Thank God I just withdrew 4k before entering. I paid up in utter disbelief.
Now I'm wondering how much those high-class salon that use to charge #1,500 to #5,000 before will be charging now.
