Dude ain’t even have up to N13m for the processing, yet he’s asking question if he should stay or travel. Nigerian youths are so blinded by the greenery of western civilization. Yet, so immature as to how to grow business & be free from eternal bills, constrained jobs, institutionalized capitalism, & an occasional racism.

You’re a god & king with your freedom & culture in Nigeria. N10m is a lot & would go a long way if you secure an investment specialist to guide you. That being said, it’s one thing to travel to Canada, it’s another thing to have enough fund with you. Mind you, you’re expected to have money for rent for at least 2 months, just to get you going before securing a job. You’re also expected to have $ that’d sustain you or your family for that duration. By all calculations, this is going to about N20m.

If you rely on any friends or family members to host you, they’d only do that for max of 2 weeks. You can’t come & burden them out. Cleaning white people’s 💩 ain’t easy.

Let God lead you. Nigeria is a land of opportunity $ honey. I pray you find the milk.

Go and do your fowls farming where there are less human fouls - move to Canada.

In fact, some farm jobs may grant you an opportunity of permanent residency. First get a visitor visa; when you get there, quickly search and get a farm job - the job offer will open a way for a change to a work visa. You take it up from there.

The Internet is your friend, please.

If you are comfortable in terms of finance, I will advice you to start a good integrated Agric farm not just only poultry. You will really make it big with time and passion.

I am an Agric student and also practicing small small.

We can connect and let's see how to work.

A lizard in Nigeria cannot become an Alligator in Canada....

It's not about the age, no matter how old you are.
Have a good mindset and pray for God's blessings and you will make it no matter how old you are when you get there....
Or no matter where you are.

BLESSINGS come ONLY from above......so says Our HOLY BOOK.

Cheers and all da very best for the future. ❤️

How I hate the bolded at the beginning of your post.

That statement is for the lazy.

Do you know an Alligator in Nigeria can be turned into a lizard overnight by Naija's condition?
A lion can become a dog here.

Abeg leave who ever wants to travel out to do their wish.

Relocate to Canada! You won't regret it.
With 2-3 yrs Canadian education and your age, Canada has a clear path to citizenship. Find people who have taken that option and follow their guide. It is expensive too, but with patience and working smart, you will stabilize and prosper. Don't just be too eager to be flashy and show off to people. Learn to save and invest. Start small and grow organically.

Leave buddy, people also succeed doing poultry business in Nigeria, as a vibrant man with that opportunity to move to a place like Canada, you should just grab that opportunity. No one knows what the future holds whether for Nigeria or your journey to Canada. But from what I can see, it’s clearer with Canada that to start the struggle in Nigeria. May your heart guide you further

i am right now e-seizing you by the collar and vigorously shaking you. Go to Canada. I said go to Canada. Did you hear me? Go to Canada. Just what part of go to Canada are you not understanding? Poultry industry in Nigeria right now is a shambles. Huge, huge starting cost and very low return due to cost of feed and relatively low cost of eggs and low demand. Don't even let me start on broiler production; that one is death trap. All in all, Sunk nearly 10m and no break-even point in sight let alone making profit. I am even one of the luckiest as no outbreak has been recorded so far in my farm. GO TO CANADA!
Are you in the farm managing it or you have people doing the management for you? If it's the 2nd options.. Then your farm need a good management

It is not easy to run a business here in Nigeria.. alot of small scale business are closing down due to business cost!! The worst among all is that customers or clients are not willing to pay at that prevailing price. 80% of small scale businesses are passing through alot now..

You're 22. Bro go to Canada. Hustle for Canadian PR and Citizenship. Does Nigeria of today look like its benefiting the youth? Go to Canada the right way. Through school or express entry.

If your poultry farm in Naija faces any mishap, there is no govt back initiative to fall back on oooo.

Let me guess; If you are to relocate to Canada in order to study and work there, it means you want to go there as a change of environment because you can also live here and still work and make money using your present financial model.

But let's say you travel and get your education sorted while working and after schooling you'd focus more on working and enjoying that Canada Life. While enjoying your life there. One day, you will be reinspired about Farms, Livestock and you will feel the passionate inspiration to return back to the country, to your homestead and build an amazing farm and do your poultry.

You see, my son; What ever choice you make right now, makes no difference. Eventually, you will be passionate about Agriculture.

We are by default, wired to thrive better in nature, and farming is the best approach to being close to nature, cos you make money while eating healthy.

You get my message.

Don't do poultry because it's too risky. Try piggery instead. It's a little bit safe and economical. But that is only if you choose to stay around. God bless.

My sincere and honest opinion to you is this. If you really have the means, go ahead with the relocation. From personal experience, at the best, you’ll probably struggle to break even In the poultry business, and you might even not be able to account for your 10M in the next 6 months. The poultry business is flunctuating and the current economic challenge is not helping. It’s not really worth it. Cost of production is on the high side. I’m a poultry farmer by qualification and by experience. So take that money of yours and relocate. Don’t let them sweet talk you into poultry. My 2 cents though.

Let me quickly advice you...
Travelling to Canada is a very good idea... and it will really favour you...

But now, I want you to dedicate at least 7 months in learning a digital skills... when you are done! Then start working on your movements...

The only way to quickly achieve something big in Canada is when you have in demand skills...
