Akin-Egba:
10 Igbos (SE) out of 23. What is the percentage? (about 43.5%) + 1 Igbo from SS
1 Yoruba only (0.001% grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

This is a country of 250 ethnic groups, remember?

BTW South South is nOt an ethnic group. It is a region comprising more than 50 ethnic groups
By both ethnic group and region, Igbos of SE dominated the football.
Dont mind the blind westerners, now IGBO donated 10 players out of 250 ethnic groups and nobody is shouting national character, tomorrow if 10 igbo men are promoted in the army you will start to see nothern lawmakers holding emergency midnight meetings.

dayokanu: So how many did you count 9 or 10 out of 23?

Thats the thing with Ibos always making noise There are proably equal or more South South people but you dont hear them making noise like these Ibos
They deserve to make enough noise, 10 igbo and 1 yoruba in a team and shame still gree you talk?

0lumide: It seems your brain has little capacity for comprehension not to speak of thought sophistication.

How does Rashidi Yekini in a team equal a Yoruba team?

Rashidi Yekini, Sunday Oliseh, Amokachi, Stephen Keshi, Amunike, etc... How was that team a Yoruba team?
Show anything in that post where he said it is a yoruba team, he was saying Rashidi was good and had the respect and love of the nation, but Emenike and Uche will not because of where they come from.

pazienza: During yekini time, nobody accused the super eagles of being a yoruba driven team,we all accepted that he was our best striker then, and rightfully deserved his selection in the team.
But as soon as they heard the name Emenike and Ike Uche they started to hate, and one old fart that called himself a tribal activist complained that the team is too igbo for his liking.

When others did same we all celebrate the team and now you ediots want to start beating empty chest. person!
You can see the igbo hustle in the team, you can see the way they exported the ball into the other country ports, sorry goal posts. Watch the way they sold all their passes like goods at Alaba international, even when Musa Chinedu came in, the game changed for the better.

pazienza: Good coach, good result. Now keshi must try to bring guys like anichebe and osaze into the fold,to strenghten this squad ahead of the fifa confederation cup. There is still room for improvement, tougher challenges lie in the future.
No, he needs to bring in Martins and Taiye taiwo to fumble or else we sack him for fielding his brothers (backward thinking Nigerians)

Same Rashidi that was left in penury and died of hunger? What a way to reward your western hero

black_beau: And sahara strikes again.I bet by tomorrow,we'll hear sahara tell us that their 'trusted sources' say the president has intestinal cancer.the day after that,we will hear about some other sickness, probably not even related to the intestine.I'd rather read Hints than sahara reporters.@ least,I'm sure Hints ia a gossip rag. BTW,if its true, its better that the president went for a screening exercise outside the country cuz the more than half of the doctors in Nigeria are either quacks with MBBS degrees or just incompetent.I work in a reputable hospital in Abuja and I know just how many ppl die each day out cuz of doctors
Why not report them doctors?

elampiro: Is it every post people argue and make insulting comments? If the president is sick, then it's a news item. Just like it's news too if he has a new babyin his family. Just because a pastor prayed for him doesn't make him a super human. The pastors themselves get sick too.

When Hilary Clinton and Bush fell sick recently the media reported. Nigerians should wake up.
You are going too far, the whole noise is about whether he is sick or sahara reporters are selling their market. stop the hilary clinto and bush bla bla bla.......

c.fours:
thank you!
Nigeria is bleeped.
a governor went on several months long unannounced leave of absence, came back unannounced. and nobody is asking questions!!! shocking.

who was the acting governor while he was away? when is he going to give a press conference to explain what is going on?
people are talking chemotherapy and do not see any problem with the fact that he has not made an announcement to voluntarily step down from office (if he is truly sick with cancer).
Please come to your senses folks. you need to elect a new governor. ask questions and demand accountability.

I wish him well but he needs to go home and rest and let a fit man/woman lead the state. why hold on to power till death by all means necessary. you are cheating your state.
You must have dropped from outer space, your post contains seriously flawed info that I cannot waste time answering you childish questions. Google is your friend.
PoliticsRe: Incredible!!the Person Who's Picture Is Shown As Sulivan Chime Is Look-alike? by 7842I: 6:03am On Feb 10, 2013
onomeasike: nobody is asking questions, even the mainstream media is culpable.Where on earth is this done? This man kept on collecting millions in salary even while away, peged all expenses to #500,000 and when people started calling for his removal,he suddenly became 'well',started wearing sunshades,'gained' weight and look apparently different.Suddenly, all the call for his resignation died.
no apologies or statement from the 'character in sunshades' and his party PDP did not even apologise to the people of Enugu who were short-changed by the continued absence of their governor.Very soon, some religious leaders will go and visit him and start lying to Nigerians ala yardua style.
For God's sake, what is wrong with this country?
What is wrong with this country is bad belle people like yourself. Whatever is your gain for spreading this falsehood will be lost because you are sowing the wind now, you will reap the whirlwind later.

onomeasike: shocked shocked :oI looked at the picture on http://saharareporters.com/gallery/photonews-governor-sullivan-chime-returns-enugu-state and I was shocked beyond shockability(apologies to Dele Giwa)

Nigerian politicians will never stop disappointing us.A public figure went AWOL for 153 days and on his arrival,no single upclose and personal interview and at a close look at the picture compared to the real picture of Sulivan Chime and you will know it just does not add up or I'm I the only one seeing it?

Methinks, the real Chime may still be outside the country recruprating and this 'character' was brought in to douse the tension being propelled by the Save Enugu group, a rehash of the Yardua episode?Nigerian politicians will do anything to hold on to power

When it became clear that this man cannot be intimidated, bribed, or harrassed by anybody, they started to discredit him. The man characteristically decided to play dumb and let his actions do the talking so they resorted to campaings of calumny against his person.

Omen100: but I passed through that bridge last week naaaaaa, shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked
the bridge is not that sloppy that when a truck a break fails it will crashed into a another vehicle and killed its passengers huh huh huh
when we add the 30 lives lost to the 50 something yet to identified bodies found in that river in the same Anambra state, one will begin to wonder " what is the truth description of human lives" angry angry angry

rest in peace cry cry cry
Please, let's call a spade a spade, and a shovel by its proper name. The flyover at Nkpor is a very poor job. How can you build a flyover in the center of an existing road? The little road left at the ground near the market is so so congested and there is a traffic jam at that junction everyday.
That road should have been designed to run straight, without anything connecting the heavy vehicles plying the highway with the street road near the market. Some nearby shops should be demolished for the road to be widened as to create space to avoid vehicles stopping at that area, a motor park is needed around there, drive all those touts loading Enugu and Abakeleke into somewhere to cleaar the road and make traffic flow smoothly.
A strong embankment should be made, preventing the possibility of vehicles on the flyover from falling off to plunge unto the vehicles on the ground, like as those flyovers in Lagos. Lastly, the petty trading on the roads near the flyover and near Nkpor market should be stopped, create a market for them somewhere and move them off the roads!

But the political will to do all these is lacking, because Peter Obi is incompetent cool
