Marriage is perceived as the taking on of additional responsibilities not previously bestowed on one by life itself meaning that you add to your previous load when you get married. That is not true at all. There are single people out there who bear way more responsibilities than their married counterparts do. Marriage or relationships allow you add on responsibilities but it does not in anyway ensure you will as an individual become more responsible or bear the added burdens well.
