Buhari should have removed the subsidy at the beginning of his first term, though I can see how his own party might have resisted since no one would vote for them with N620 a litre fuel.

Until we make our own fuel from our own crude oil, politicians will either subsidise or watch Nigerians suffer and not reelect them.

The decision of Tinubu to become the President of this country, coupled with his very blind and terrible supporters to follow irrespective of the fake promises and demonizing of PDP, has led this country into its very dark and worst periods since independence.

Prices have rapidly risen without the faintest hope of improvement since 2015. Buhari first was his body language and forex. The country then descended into extreme poverty.

Tinubu himself said that he did not take listen to his advisers when on his inauguration he declared the end of subsidy. Without the smallest structure in place, this man brought this unimaginable hardship upon Nigerians, yet asking them to bear. Now he has returned to subsidy. Prices of all goods and services have far exceeded the capacity of the common man. With petrol at 575 and as far as 600 in Lagos, Petrol queues have resurfaced. Now he has secretly started paying the same subsidy that he openly ended.

In just five months, Tinubu has made Buhari appear like a saint. Yet he says that there is hope. He says there must be suffering before enjoyment. His bewitched followers even agree to continue suffering. The same story was given by Buhari for eight years.

In these few months, Nigerians have witnessed unimaginable poverty. What have we done to APC? Who will save Nigeria and Nigerians from this party that holds everyone at the scruff of the neck?

Our major problem is lack of functioning refineries. A partial subsidy is still better than nothing.

We can get a working refinery within 1yr if we are sincere with ourselves afterall it's just some repair works and not like we are constructing from scratch.

There's a way you give contract to constractors and they will do perfect job but its only in Nigeria that politicians will give job of plumber to a tailor just because that tailor is their close pal. It's not all about federal government things but it's happening almost everywhere across the country
