That's why i don't like whatsapp anymore. people cloning numbers to open your account. if you want to use whatsapp make sure you are not sharing the number with everyone you dont know. If you go to North people go to telecomm to clone people numbers and all that. Nigeria is not a real place.

Yes, you can use 2 WhatsApp both ordinary WhatsApp and WhatsApp business but different phone numbers for each, just download both WhatsApp, install and use different numbers.

Tech/gurus here, can one run 2 WhatsApp app on a phone? Like say WhatsApp App and WhatsApp Business App on the same phone?

If possible, pls explain how abeg.

I said use a different number to register the WhatsApp business first. Once that is up and running, then do a change of number on the WhatsApp business to your MTN line.

My own challenge is that I was banned from whatsapp after reinstalling my GOLD whatsapp coz it crashed. I have sent various messages to whatsapp support but my number is still banned. Is there any remedy? will they unban me later?

Then it must have been banned due to other activities reported by people e.g child pornography, abusive language, scamming people and others. And not because the line is being used by someone else.

But when you say the WhatsApp Business was last used yesterday, I'm taking it to be that the number was just banned yesterday then.

I am having same problem. Each time I try to register it, it will tell me to use the official whatsapp... And that's my business whatsapp.
I even tried to change my number, he no work..

Very easy to solve
Uninstall the whatsapp
Re register
While reregistering, select the option of "call me" instead of the usual "text me" to receive the registration code for activation.
Receive the call from your line and enter the code to reactivate your whatsapp.

After u have entered the code, the other person will be disabled instantly.
, If the person used 2 factor authentication, your whatsapp will wait for 7 days for the pin to expire and then start to work again.
You don't have to worry about the other person using the WhatsApp during these seven days as the person has been disabled the moment you entered the code you received from the WhatsApp activation call to your phone.

My Nin is someone WhatsApp number, though from a foreign country.the thing still they surprise me
