I reach back in my memory to recall when IBB said almost the same thing when a reporter asked him about the money he purportedly took from the nation's coffer. He claimed he didn't have money. He declared that he didn't enrich himself while in government. He gave out that after he stepped down, subsequent governments have tried to recover the money he supposedly stole only to discover there was nothing to recover. Almost all politicians would claim they have nothing except the ones they acquired from some honest dealings. |
In the nature of things, dreams change whenever we move to the next facet of our life. For example, the kind of dreams you are having while in secondary school will be different from the ones you will have when you get to higher institution. Sometimes, it doesn't mean anything. Immediately after finishing a course of study, you could start dreaming of schooling with or without your former school mates. After you have packed from a house, you may start dreaming of staying in that house. I think this is embedded in your inner mind's desire to package your experiences in a manner illustrative of a final packaging of movie after the actors have finished acting. What you are watching in a movie has already been acted. After my brother left a church which he had attended for my years, he started dreaming of attending the church, something that hitherto did not happen. Sometimes our brain would start processing our experiences after we have left the stage. It will then manifest these experiences in dreams. Commonly, some people dream about what has already happened just like few people dream about what will happen in the future. That's why our dreams typically involve our daily experiences because they are what have already happened. But if there is anything about those dreams that evince the possibility that you would suffer retrogression in life, just pray to God and He will help you. |

I use to wonder that if there are billions of stars in our milky way and each star has many planets. Somehow or other, there must be a planet somewhere located in a suitable distance from it's star such that there will be intelligent beings like us. Our milky way has between 100 to 400 billion stars(ie suns) And there are billions of milky ways each one having billions of stars. That means there should be sufficiently many planets with intelligent beings like our Earth. God cannot create so vast a universe and then create life in only one place. He is a living God and He creates living things throughout His universe and not only on this Earth. |
That's why it's good to do good, help people, be kind, be loving, be gentle, be caring, because there's nothing you can take out of this life except your good works. This instruction is evident in 1 timothy 6:18-19 As Christians, we are of the absolute conviction that Jesus Christ's righteousness is what matters. This is true. But the Bible asserts that faith without work is dead. The righteousness of Jesus Christ is defined similarly with our righteousness. That's why every one who believes in Jesus Christ and has His righteousness in him, would automatically begin to live a righteous life. Towards this understanding, each person should endeavor to uphold the principles of kindness, goodness and righteousness. If you are going on the road and you see someone stranded without transport fare, help him or her. Feed the hungry, give clothes to the naked, etc. Remember that in the Bible, Jesus Christ spoke of this as what will determine our eternal destination, when the sheep will be separated from the goats. These are the things that would matter when you die and not your material possession because you won't go with your physical possession when you die. Faith in Jesus Christ is the proximate reason you are saved. But you need to concretize your faith by being good, kind, caring, gentle and loving. Live and let live. Show love to people and to animals. |

Kollins11:I bought Agbado N70 each and the cassava I bought for N180. |
Today, I felt like cooking and eating a meal sumptuous. But I remembered the Agbado and cassava paradox. So I said "Toh, let me buy and eat Agbado and cassava for dinner" I bought cooked Agbado and cassava from 2 Hausa human beings. My neighbor didn't realize what hit him when he saw me eating this strange meal. He gave an impression of a great surprise. He asked me what in the hell I was doing eating Agbado combined with cassava. He could not believe in his ears when I told him I enjoyed it. I really surprised him out of his calm. Previous to this incident that happened today, my neighbors know me as someone who cooked and ate good meals. So it was not far from surprising that I could eat this. All he could find to say finally was " I hope all is well" There is a chance someone reading this must have tried this food combination before. How did you like it?

You probably don't know that: 1. The day after tomorrow is called Overmorrow. 2. The first cry of a new born baby is called Vagitus 3. Your little toe or finger is called Minimus 4. The dot over an "i" or a "j" is called Tittle 5. When your stomach rumbles, that's a Wamble Below are other words which most people presumably don't know exist.

sageb:Ok. |
sageb:Sir, I don't want to mention the name of the church or the pastor. You know what kind of people we have in Nairaland. They may end up insulting the man and the church. It would seem as if I brought the man out to Nairaland to be mocked. I have had terrible experiences with people here who are always ready to insult anything church and pastor. So I can't try such again. Some would even say I am trying to advertise my church. Although I am no longer worshipping there. |
I remember when Akpanudoedehe was the first set of people who began a church here in Uyo at Akpakpan street. He was very strong spiritually that sometimes he could command the rain to stop and it would stop immediately. They said he was always very prayerful and was very strong spiritually. By the time I started attending the church, he was no longer a regular member, maybe because he traveled or was always busy. But we only heard of his exploits. People who started the church always spoke of the mighty moves of God in that church. When I started attending, I saw former governors and top politicians who came every day to seek for God's favor. At one time, IBB came, although he did not come for service but went straight to meet with the owner of the church in his house. Abacha tried to arrest the owner/founder because he prophesied that Abacha would die within a week. But when SSS came to arrest the founder during the church service, he walked into the midst of the elders, came out and walked into his car. They even open the car door for him. When he drove away, they all came to their senses. The founder later said God instructed him to walk into the midst of the elders, so that God would make him invisible by the aura of the elders so that when he walked out, the SSS people won't be able to see or arrest him. Just like he said, Abacha died within a week. Infact in those days, that church was the most popular in Akwa Ibom aside that of Reverend Uma Ukpai. Things happened which I witnessed and they were miraculous. |
Girls and young women generally are very strong physically. Men like assuming things. If you have not fought with a woman before, you have no right to say women are weaker than men. A woman has 2 hands and 2 legs like you. What makes you think you are automatically stronger than her physically just because you are a man? Someone said a man can beat a woman because he suppose to have more skills than a woman. Can you imagine such assumption. If you have skills as a man, what makes you think a woman does not have skills? That's how men would be assuming things and refuse to do the needful till it is too late. |
