Just look at what the youths of this country are doing to survive this hardship, they've resorted to reckless betting.

Some of them are graduates without jobs, they are tired and frustrated.

Don't blame hardship, this is not the effect of bad govt, a graduate Hawking water is effect of bad govt, not this one.
These are people that doesn't want to work yet wants to make money, and they don't want to start small and grow, they want to turn their 100 naira to 15k in 90mins. Some of them even have small businesses that fetch them little money, but after the day's work, this is where they spend the money.

Blame the govt and the society for making them idle and hapless undecided

The govt for not providing enabling environment for these abled youths to thrive financially and the society, for imbuing an utopian culture in the minds of the youth that they can succeed even without starting from the grassroot shocked. It's even been worsened with the lace of religious gullibility in the Christian folks, posterity preaching amongst the pentecostal denomination. shocked

This is just so sad to view...
Our darling youths,
Your destiny is in your hands.
This is not the time to sleep,
To make it worse,
Sleeping in a betting shop,
On the floor?
Some even without clothes on?!

Don't they have homes?
This is pathetic and we are so emotional right now.
Wake up Guys.
Stop sleeping!
The future is in your hands ✋️.

BigBirdKuti has said it all below......

Go to Philadelphia and tell us all is not well with the US too.

Every society has that part of her.

Using baseless pegs to rubbish Nigeria won’t fly! Your logic can tell also, that all is not working for the US.

It is in Owerri. Imo state. That was the same Owerri people hijacked and looted a truck of Onion in 2022.

Until the government ban all these betting houses and virtual apps, it's only going to get worse. They even have picture of Okocha endorsing the betting house.

The billions of dollars being spent by these gamblers on betting could be used to invest in themselves. They could invest in IT courses but no, they would rather spend their money on get rich schemes like betting and crypto.

I wonder how we reason in Nigeria sef. Nigeria has had a spiraling economy for years that is so obvious to any human with eyes and a brain to see. The amount of revenue the country generates has greatly reduced, the amount of corruption in the country has greatly increased, the amount of jobs being created has greatly reduced yet Nigerians keep giving birth in multitudes, the average poor man has nothing less than 4 children, do Nigerains even think about the future at all, do you guys understand the horror you are putting your kids in.

The population of Nigeria is greatly increasing mean while the economy is greatly dwindling to the ground, people that are giving birth need to understand that the next coming years of Nigeria will be a horror, crime rates will sky rocket, there will be very few jobs with millions competeing, businesses will collapse, starting your own businesses wont be as easy as it used to be. You are literally setting your kids up for failure.
But uner still get the mentality say "e go better" and "God go provide", I dey laugh sha.

Don't worry Op it will soon reach the point where these guys can't afford 100 naira to gamble anymore then they will start robbing, kidnapping, sacrificing and murdering people.

Lots of homeless people, lots of hungry people. People are becoming desperate, robbery, kidnappings have increased.

It's time we unite in one voice. Let's about our differences and tribes or political affiliation for now and speak up in one voice. If what's going on in Nigeria is not affecting you directly, it is definitely affecting indirectly.

Those idiots in power are united in sharing the nations wealth, they don't care about any of us.

Betting is not Nigeria's problem.

This picture depicts very serious underlying unemployment problem in Nigeria. Young chaps are wasting away in different ways as a result of idleness, this is just one of it. If this is what gives them hope, allow them hang on to it, while we hope our irresponsible government start thinking right.
