Honestly speaking, even though I am not his fan, this judgement is unfair. He didn't commit murder neither did he defraud someone yet they gave him such a cruel punishment. Not even fine was accepted for this, there is something more to this than mere naira abuse.

He has stepped on the wrong toes, I keep telling people that when Government decides to have your time they will treat your case wella.. For me,whoever told him to plead guilty misadvised him. He could have dragged the case for a while after which he will enter into a plea bargain. Now he will tagged as an ex convict for the rest of his life. Anyways when one door closes another one will open,I am sure that whenever he comes out he can apply for asylum in any country abroad and he will be considered as a defender of the trans community in Nigeria

This is not government action. The judgment is based on the personal bias of the judge

Did you even read my comment? Do you even understand the meaning of the word 'scapegoat'? You even said it yourself, "even the judge sprays money at parties". This implies they are just looking for a way to punish him or her?

If we're to go by this law, he or she shouldn't be the first offender. There're lots of videos on YouTube about celebrities spraying money? So, why Bobrisky? The reason I used the word - scapegoat.

It could be an avenue to clip his or her wing since there's no specific law in our constitution against cross-dressing.

The way you guys boldly comment on things with no sense of context or anything, often baffles me. You kept talking about politicians, is Bobrisky a politician?

Even regarding law, you don't know anything about law and what you are talking about. You just muddle things up and post.

There are times when you have to plead guilty and ask for a lenient sentence or face the full wrath of the law. That is the practice all over the world, when there is a strong evidence against you. The lawyer will advise but it is the client's decision. If you decide to gamble with your life, that is your risk and the prosecutor will ensure you serve the maximum sentence under the law upon conviction.

The judgement is harsh. He/she should have been given an option of fine. Funke Akindele who deliberately defied Covid law was given an option of fine. Clearly The man/ lady is being dealt with by some unknown forces.

The sentence is ridiculous and unwarranted. This judge must be one of the brainwashed religious fanatic hiding behind the law.

Prison has been one major Instrument GOD has used to Humble, save and change many persons.
Maybe this will just be the beginning of his turning point.

His Soul in Eternity matters to GOD. In these last of the last days GOD is Desperate to get as Many souls as possible.

When GOD is all out to save a soul especially one that will be an instrument to get a whole lot of others, He can do and undo to get that soul. Just like Saul who became Paul the apostle.

1. He pleaded guilty without wasting court's time
2. He is a first time offender
3. He has become an ex convict.

Homosexuality is not permitted in Nigeria and bobrisky has been parading up and down as a transgender for so many years now without the law doing nothing to him...

What broke the camel's back was when that very dark man said himself would be a transgender if bobrisky wasn't arrested.
