I have always come across this saying, "what a man can do, a woman can do better" insinuating that men are not stronger than women. But, it still baffles me why many bodies in this universe still make special to protrest that weakness of women, when they've said that are not weak. We have laws against molestation and ra-ping of women, while, there are no such laws for the male folk. There's a punishment for men who beats their wives and we dont have such punishments for women who beats their husbands. Since, there's law guiding women from ra-pe, shouldn't there be law protecting men from seduction? There are many health laws in favor of the women folk without a single one for the male folk. Due to some gender based policies, women are no longer getting employment through merit, rather, they're getting it based on gender equality. since all human beings are equal, there should be equal treatment for all human beings. |

These are constitutional and gender equality matters that need to be emphasised by human rights groups wherever you are. It takes a united community with one voice to bring about some changes not romance. |

in my village, there's this law that if u impregnate a woman, u must marry her or pay penalty of sixty thousand naira. but, they've not come up with laws like if a woman infects u with STDs, she'll pay an amount as penalty. |
