I however want folks to throw more light as regards possible questions that could b asked at the point of entry especially regarding to funding n accommodation. For someone like me who doesn't want to stay in the school's hostel. I for one don't intend to hold more than 2000 pounds in cash. Hope this is fine. Thanks once more. U guys have been so helpful

congrats Ogheneyoma,@nemsy, I just want to believe ikeja was extremely slow in sending our applications, cos the wait is expensive for me, the ticket prices keep on soaring each day

........... I submitted mine at lekki on the 13th august too, no response yet. one has no choice than to relax and hope they call for collection hopefully by monday.

Have you updated your school on the status of your visa application? If you haven't done so I'll advise you do so ASAP.

That asked about paying for NHS treatment in the UK. The reason I said yes is because I had been in the UK before on a psw dependant visa. While I was there, I usually consult my GP free of charge because I am a dependant of a UK ordinary resident. However, I always pay for My prescription at the pharmacy. I thought it was right for me to say that I pay for my treatment because I pay for my prescription even though I don,t pay anything to see my GP

But after submitting my application, I found out that NHS free treatment means consulting your GP without paying any charges and it is not clear if paying for prescription without paying for consulting your GP is also considered as paying for your treatment.

Please, is this going to affect my application based on general ground for refusal? I need your advice please.

For Tier 4 Visa...its really the 40 points that matters. Therefore, you would not be penalized for that except and only in cases of clear intention to deceive.

Your bank statement or mini-statement from your credit or debit card would reflect this transaction and can act as prove if it becomes necessary.

Please, is it true that any body coming to the UK must show a TB screening certificate at the airport before he or she would be allowed to cross the border?

Again, can someone tell me if the processing time for tier 4 and dependant visa is more than just a tier 4 application?

Lastly is it normal for one not to have gotten any response from vfs till now having made a tier 4 application since 17th August 2012?

Answers to these questions will be well appreciated.
