SmooshCHN and Hardetayour come and carry your man Eruditor o
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 8:29am On Jul 13, 2019
I told you before. Anything I say I can back it up. Mr. Kawhi was a LAL fan. Because Broussard and co were claiming it. LOL
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 9:28am On Jul 13, 2019
Is Eruditor still digging to find where Stephen A and Nick Wright predicted the Lakers to finish second?
Re: The NBA Begins by Hardetayour: 11:20am On Jul 13, 2019
steady986:Nah. He's doing the Lord's work by teaching you what u don't know. Hope u have a pen and paper close by and you're taking notes
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:23am On Jul 13, 2019
Hardetayour:Lol, you haven't been paying attention. Your boy got schooled by me this morning.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:24am On Jul 13, 2019
chic2pimp:Opinions are allowed but I think I would take the opinion of the coaches who make a living covering and coaching the sport over yours sha.
When a player primarily known for his scoring makes 9 all-defense teams and wins a DPOY and consistently finishes as a top 5 Defensive Player of the Year candidate for most of his career then he is clearly doing something right.
Re: The NBA Begins by Hardetayour: 11:32am On Jul 13, 2019
steady986:I see something different. Hope he was able to convince you and not confuse you with the learning materials
Re: The NBA Begins by yomi96(m): 11:38am On Jul 13, 2019
A40:dont waist your time, schooling their ignorance. They started following basketball recently, yet they feel they have arrived. This is not a dick measuring contest. Your oga na your oga, be humble and learn. Especially that one wey say him name na steady. Good job tho.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 12:43pm On Jul 13, 2019
The same way I can confidently say are there tons of games and videos where his defense was not celebrated because they either lost or did not make enough points on offense. No one can remotely convince me otherwise about Jordan’s defense even his opponents during his era raved and still talk about it today worth more the stats.

My girl Serena Williams is struggling with too many unforced errors and she just looks very frustrated with herself and has lost composure.
Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:28pm On Jul 13, 2019
She's lost already .
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:29pm On Jul 13, 2019
Isn't this her 3rd straight Finals loss? Must be mad frustrating. Those days of Serena straight up bullying others with her power on the court seem to be gone. Halep just kept peppering her with different flavors and returning everything.
I don't know which beat down was worse between this one and Kerber last year
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 3:34pm On Jul 13, 2019
That's fair enough. I would probably do likewise in your shoes.
Some of those Defensive Teams of the Year awards were because of His Name. Substitute any other player for His and they don't get anywhere near the number of Teams of the Year awards He got.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:34pm On Jul 13, 2019
She did not even get a single Ace in the game. I was just as frustrated as she was watching the game. Serena is all about emotions and when she is not in the right mood, especially when one point does not go her way early on she becomes frustrated with everything and just stops playing. Halep moved very well on the court and whenever it went into a rally, the point was as good as gone for Serena. It was one of her worst displays, I mean outside of last year's performance but she was more graceful today.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:35pm On Jul 13, 2019
I was as frustrated as she was.

The GOAT will be back. You need not worry.
Btw Wimbledon is extremely Posh o. It's been a minute since I've been down there but today just served as a reminder.
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 3:40pm On Jul 13, 2019
Ofcourse no one will be able to convince you of an Opinion you've held for so long. It's only normal. I guess it's something we'd have to agree to disagree on.
Re: The NBA Begins by KNIGHTBlaed(m): 4:43pm On Jul 13, 2019
So are you still with OKC or you don port?
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:53pm On Jul 13, 2019
chic2pimp:Name?? I strongly disagree. If fans and media were influenced by name were the coaches influenced by name too? Do you realize that in Jordan's time it was the coaches and not media who voted for players that got into All-Defense teams? Did you know that coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players?
He was a DPOY even before he became the Undisputed best player in the league. Nobody would have sold Jordan as an elite defender if he wasn't one. When Magic was the best player nobody ever put him in any defensive player of the year conversation because he was not an elite defender. Jordan was and that was even before Scottie became a factor
Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 5:07pm On Jul 13, 2019
Bro, ,these are hard times for OKC but I'm here sha as we rebuild. ..If I wanted to leave, I should have followed K.D when we went to the Warriors...
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 5:08pm On Jul 13, 2019
Jordan was a beast on the defensive end. I remember Barkley describing him as a panther waiting to pounce on any chance when he was defending. He only stopped guarding the best perimeter player when Pippen became elite.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:41pm On Jul 13, 2019
Khanben:Jordan still guarded the best perimeter player on opposing sides but in shorter spurts than Pippen did.

Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 7:43pm On Jul 13, 2019
u better leave now. okc thunder can never prosper again . better they go back to seattle.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:22pm On Jul 13, 2019
A40:Y'all should know that the league allowed a little physicality back then. I don't think Jordan's style of defense would have thrived in this era. He'd probably get evicted in every game.
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 8:25pm On Jul 13, 2019
I find this funny.
Cause bron fans try to discredit Mj saying he played plumbers and because they are plumbers they couldn’t guard him but now you are using physicality against him.
Re: The NBA Begins by Hardetayour: 8:55pm On Jul 13, 2019
donlittle25:Lol. U don buy market. Wait for the epistles
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 9:12pm On Jul 13, 2019
Lol the hypocrisy was so obvious I couldn't ignore.
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 9:20pm On Jul 13, 2019
IMHO comparing eras does not really work because of the type of play and differences in rules. Especially in teams sports from football to basketball and American football to name a few, different eras are difficult to compare across board because of even little things like nutrition, ease of commute etc.
I remember one open court episode where Shaq could not believe there was a time NBA players flew coach, little things like this even advance in medical sciences simply ensures that a level playing field for comparison does not objectively exist.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:30pm On Jul 13, 2019
steady986:You people always make me laugh with this talk. Half the league is copying some of Jordan's moves while the others they can't even reenact because the Basketball gods didn't bless them with the skills to pull it off. But you think the GOAT would not be able to cope with a mere rule change that would lighten his burden offensively as well thanks to the beating he took going to the basket
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 9:34pm On Jul 13, 2019
A40:Niggas would hit crude oil if they keep going this low. I don't understand how Steady986 thinks. MJ's defense wouldn't thrive like he doesn't have the footwork or IQ to adjust to today's offense? I don't understand.
